Last two Captain America films were better than the last two Avengers films, Civil war was particularly good.

First episode of GoT season six was a promising start to what should be a very interesting season. I really wish they would just drop all 10 episodes at the same time, the week to week wait is painful.

After multiple Android devices it's fun to compare my current device with my first. Its surprising to see some similarities in design with devices made so many years apart. It's also kind of hilarious how small the HTC Legend feels. At the time I bought it I actually chose it as it was smaller than the HTC Desire (coming from a Nokia it felt much more manageable). The legend was underpowered in comparison and its feels barely useable when I turn it on now.

+Phillip Tyson yeah the HTC Legend is a bit the same with the cold metal feel. My Nexus 6p is metal but it never quite has the same chunky metal feel to it. I had seriously looked at a few Nokia smartphone before settling on my first Android, I still have my last few Nokia dumb phones kicking around somewhere too and they still run.

The first spinoff looks a lot more interesting than the last movie (which I still really enjoged), I can't wait to see it.

Really tense enjoyable movie. They didn't spoil it with a trailer that gave everything away like a lot of movie are doing lately (there won't be any surprises left by the time batman vs superman finally comes out).

I got one of each from the states and was looking to add another Chromecast audio for some Logitech speakers in the bedroom. The Chromecast 2 is just the first one but faster. The audio actually opens up new options to bring streaming music to just about anyone who has WiFi and some kind of sound equipment (all you need is RCA or line in).

Google’s second generation Chromecast hardware and new Chromecast audio dongles are set to launch here in Australia in the coming weeks with the hardware now showing in the JB Hifi retail system. According to sources, the dongles are both listed in the JB Hifi inventory system, with the launch expected to come within the next couple of weeks. The dongles[Read More...]

+Phillip Tyson it's a pretty cheap bridge if the Sonos allows it, I've seen those Sonos boxes and thought they were some kind of amp. I was surprised that all that cost was just to get music onto your speaker network.

I added a second audio when they came out in Australia and paired my Hi-Fi in the lounge and an old Logitech ipod dock in the bedroom for a multi room setup (appears as a third Chromecast Audio choice). The sound is great and its a really smooth transition from room to room.

A different take to all the love going around in his last season.

Kobe Bryant's season-long farewell tour comes to an end tonight in Los Angeles, bringing to close his 20-year career. So let's say goodbye and good riddance to the NBA's all-time asshole.
His farewell tour makes its final stop tonight – and at long last, we can finally move on to something (and someone) better

One of Google Play music's great features (being able to backup and play music from the cloud) also leads to some entertaining quirks. The app I used to convert this single to MP3 could find the cover art so I resorted to a smartphone snap of the CD cover.

Now the cover art I end up with is also a reflection of me taking the picture and for added nostalgia it still has the price tag from Roundabout Video (the favourite music and video store of my youth).

Lived up to the trailer. Some good laughs (intro credits were unexpected) and great action sequences. It's a character I'd like to see more of.

My favourite inexpensive thai place in Melbourne. The chefs special Yum Sam Grob is a particular highlight. Great food and friendly/fast service every time.
