Packet Pushers is getting ready for a long overdue migration of the website to a new platform. If I have done this right, then everything will be fine. Of course, ITIL's Law says that everything looks good on the plan but will fail during the cutover.

This might mean some problems especially with podcast feeds. We think we have thought of everything but the new platform is radically different from the current Wordpress we use and this mean that all of our RSS feeds have new URLs. In theory, pod catchers and feed readers should detect the 301 redirect and update the Feed URL. In practice, many do not.

So, if this is the last post in your RSS Feed then please visit the Subscribe page to get the new URLs. You might also replace your RSS reader with some thing that does understand that feed URLs change over time :)

Standby.

As a content creator, I don't like Google Plus. Its just too hard to use, doesn't integrate and isolated.

And the user interface is awful.  I really hope all of the people who follow me here will stop using it so I can close the account down and be done with it. You can find me on twitter as @etherealmind

I'm happy STP made #1 even if it's not a priority-ish list.
