The North West Disability Sport Regional Games brings together clubs and individuals from throughout the North West to take part in a fun tournament. The Games will take place at Greenbank Sports Academy on 18 & 19 July 2015.

We are looking for competitors from the North West region to take part in the following events:
- Boccia
- Football
- Power Football
- Wheelchair Handball
- Wheelchair Rugby
- Wheelchair and Standing Table Tennis

Organised to coincide with the Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF), Greenstock is a free entry live music and art festival happening at Greenbank Sports Academy on Sat 23 August 2014 from 12noon until 11pm.

The theme of the event is “magical garden” and it will feature an eclectic mix of live music, performances, art, workshops and activities for all ages, all within the Sports Academy’s grounds. Every inch of space will be transformed for the day into a magical festival environment.
 
There will be performances by local and disabled musicians including Tom Doughty, The Hey Pedros, Roy Turnham, Mike Carney and The Young Ukes

Other key attractions include
- A sensory trail
- Shadow puppet installation
- Fairy houses
- Lawn games
- Photo booth

Have-a-go sport for 8’s and over
12-2pm – VI Football with Merseyside Blind Football Club

2-5pm – Boccia, Table Tennis, PolyBat, Table Cricket, Wheelchair Handball, Rebound Therapy, Wheelchair Rugby, Wheelchair Basketball, Powerlifting and Handcycling

Plus
Bouncy Castle and Soft Play Area for younger children
Art and Craft activities
On site Café Bar

We're celebrating after being told that we will receive a 3 year funding package of £318,000 from Sport England to develop disability sports provision across Merseyside over the next 3 years. Brilliant news!
