Greencity-living.com: Save the earth and your PB & J too!  Our SAV-UR-SAC! reusable sandwich bags are unique to other products on the market because they are composed of 2 opposing layers of laminated cotton.

SAV-UR-SAC! & SAV-UR-SNAC! Features:
• Food safe:  The laminate is free of BPA, PVC, Phthalates and lead.  It meets CPSIA requirements.
• A customer favorite: our product retains most of the qualities that make plastic bags so desirable, widening the appeal so even less “eco-conscious” customers are inspired to try it.
• Actually keeps food fresh!  The bi-layer laminate design of our bag works to keep air from drying out bread or causing chips/cookies/cereal to get stale, while also keeping fruit’s juices from leaking out and diminishing flavor.
• Easy to clean: They can be washed inside out in the washing machine, upside down on the top rack of a dishwasher or hand washed in the sink.  They should be air dried but this is easily done by placing them upside down over something else—like a lid rack or even a wine bottle.
• Easy to sanitize:  Designed by a nurse and mother, it was especially important to our founder to design the bags to minimize the chance of germs with re-use.  To achieve this, the seam stitching is placed on the outside of the bag so that the inside is easily cleaned.
• Holds up to repeated use:  After 4 years of trials the original bags produced are still in daily use.
• Cool designs: The contrasting/coordinating fabrics are chosen to provide a fun or funky element to their use.  The interior fabric can change depending on availability, but it is always coordinated with the exterior.
• We reuse—when we have second quality bags or undersized end cuts, we trim down to use the fabric for snack bags.  Because of this, we have a wide variety of snack bag options that we aren’t able to offer in our regular wholesale selection.
• Made in the U.S.A.  in Denver, Colorado.  Not only does this provide jobs in our local community, but it doesn’t adversely affect the environment like international shipping does.
• Minimized packaging: we use 100% recycled Kraft paper tags to label our products.

Check us out for other home goods items: we also make Fluff Dry wool balls, Green & Thirsty unpaper towels, Bacon Sponges, No Foil potato cookers and reusable mop covers.
