Although my previous experiences were good, this past week has been frustrating to tears. The first person I talked to on the phone was not professional, she didn't know how to work the computer, she didn't know how to help me find the part I needed and she didn't give me a receipt until I asked for one. When I brought this up to a manager, he was unapologetic and said she was new. Then I thought my parts issue was resolved when a different staff member said she would send me a replacement part free of charge because the part that was not working was a part I bought from them just 6 months ago. This morning however, a third staff member called and said that they would not be replacing that part because it was against their policies. I said I understand the policy, but that a different staff member had already made the verbal agreement and it was poor costumer service to go back on that. The person on the phone then told me I could go buy any future parts I might need online instead of from them. I told him I'm not upset that they can't replace the part but that he is so unapologetic about the mistake that was made. He said he would not apologize and there was no mistake made. He then hung up on me. I have been a loyal costumer since I bought a used Olympic Kiln 7 months ago. I'm upset and confused about the 180° turn around in costumer service.

I've had my Olympic Kiln for just about a year now and its been top notch. Its boringly reliable and the service and communication from the distribution center in Flowery Branch has been superb. I would recommend Olympic to anyone getting into ceramics.

They sold me a Chinese made thermometer for 160.00. They sell for 25.00 online. I complained, they would not let me return and electronic item. It was not out of the box and I had purchased it 2 days earlier. They gave me A whopping credit if 60.00. I would have forgotten about it but I tried to go ahead and use it, the instructions are in chinese!!!! How can they have such a large markup, and I can't use it because I do not read Chinese!!!! Beware!!!!
