Grasshopper seemed to be the ideal product for our Property Management company since the majority of our employees have cell phones and are constantly on the go between our different properties. We LOVE the features Grasshopper provides! However, I was hoping that there would be more options to actually grow with the company, and support would be able to tailor a plan to my needs like cell phone providers often do. Given their limited minute plans, it looks like we will outgrow this plan soon, maybe within a few months, as we will be using well over 10,000 minutes (even as a small business with under 20 employees, communication between us and our tenants is an integral part of our operations). As a result, we would end up paying WAY more than we would have had we opted for an unlimited minute VoIP system with 20 users. I could open two Grasshopper accounts, both with 10,000 minutes, and spend less than what we will be charged on our one account once we have 4,000 minutes in overages. Despite this, Grasshopper has absolutely NO options for those of us that hope to pay fairly for this service with a pricing structure for us small businesses that need Grasshopper as much as the next small business, but also need to talk a lot... Not only are we paying for this service, but also the actual cellphones we use to tap into this system, so keeping it budget friendly is key. Please reconsider adding another plan so we don' t need to watch our account like a hawk, stressing over the overages that would end up being considerably more than the cost Grasshopper pays to provide us the service. 15,000 minutes should be available for $275 a month and 20,000 should be available for $350 a month... Another scale issue with Grasshopper is not being able to delete calls off the call log in the app. If these two things were remedied, I would give Grasshopper 5 stars and many recommendations, but as it stands now, I need to start planning our next move away from Grasshopper and to another company that is willing to handle our call volume. If these issues were addressed, Grasshopper would open up their audience considerably to other small businesses considering everything else about Grasshopper is great.

Hi Lauren, Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a thorough review! We love to see our customer’s businesses expanding. We totally understand the need for more minutes. Have you looked into our Enterprise plan? If not, we could have someone reach out to you with the details. There are no plans at this time to adjust our plan offering. As for the call log in the app, are you monitoring all the extensions that are on the account? If so, you can set which extensions you’d like to see the calls for. Otherwise, unfortunately we don’t have a solution for that right now. I hope this helps. Let me know if there's anything else I help with. -Mary

I've had two business so far. Both startups and we have absolutely NO problem saying GRASSHOPPER IS THE BEST! Small companies on a budget will find this company provides the services that will make you look Fortune 500 in minutes. Our customers are greeted and transferred as if we had a receptionist sitting behind a desk in our corporate offices! We love the fact that there's always someone available to help us. Setup is relatively easy and, again, if you need help, there's someone in customer service to provide that assistance. Get it! Use it!

Grasshopper is an amazing system with a great group of people behind it. We love the features and the ability to add numerous extensions is incredibly helpful for our team. The mobile app is also great as we can check our voicemail and make outgoing calls using our vanity phone number. Grasshopper has not only provided us exceptional service and great customer support (even at 2am) but they publish a great deal of quality content that truly helps businesses. We love having Grasshopper and recommend it to all our clients and friends.

We have been using Grasshopper for our business for about 2.5 years now. It was easy to set up, and has been a great low-cost solution to our business communication needs. I would highly recommend Grasshopper, and I have! Keep up the great work.

Not ready to support any kind of business. Nothing works as described. Knowlege-base articles are wrong and outdated. Unreliable notificaiton of messages. Poor audio quality. Don't select this as your phone provided. There are free or almost free solutions that offer better products.

Grasshopper is a great service for entrepreneurs, startups, and small business. I've been satisfied with the quality of service up until recently. I am VERY disappointed that Grasshopper, as U.S. company, charges an additional $0.06 per minute via an "international" fee for Hawaii and Alaska, which are both part of the United States America! This is unacceptable and is not communicated clearly anywhere on their website. Though my phone system through Grasshopper is working fine, I am considering dropping them for another service provider. I hope that the innovative and colorful company that Grasshopper is can come to terms with the present day of including American-based companies in their boundaries for domestic call rates.

Alaska and Hawaii are considered "offshore" because our carriers charge us more to forward calls there, so we need to pass that charge on. Claims of their ability to port your current number to their system have been highly exaggerated. GH wasted 6 weeks before, after back and forth, saying they couldn't port my phone number to their system. 6 weeks for a business that is seasonal and the phone has already stated ringing. We're now in hyper scramble mode to get a phone system set up at the same time we're ramping up our season. Yeah, running your own business is so easy, every once in awhile you should seek out a vendor who can add a bit of stress to your life.

I've been using Grasshopper for a few years now and it's pretty awesome. They have great customer support with very responsive and knowledgeable agents. I also love how easy it is to set up the phone system and make it ring your phones. Informational extensions are also great! The only thing I wish it had was the ability to text through your Grasshopper number. It would be amazing if I could do that so clients can reach me better when they are on the go.
