I got a great deal and outstanding service with Nate at Grappone Ford/Mazda on a very lightly used 2015 Mazda3 i Touring sedan. Nate made the whole process extremely straightforward and easy. It's quite a change up at Grappone from the fast talking sales reps who need to aggressively push a deal that you may find at other dealers. The dealership was clean and tidy, the staff in general were positive and friendly, and the waiting area with coffee and snacks was definitely appreciated! Nate in particular was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and overall made me have a sense of trust in Grappone as a dealer. I will definitely buy from here again in the future.

Quick summary: Everyone I communicated with was very friendly and I ended up with the car I wanted at the price I expected. I did not feel pressured into anything (though I did know what I wanted before I went in). I have no complaints and feel that I was treated well. It's worth noting there is an administration fee that is not included in the price of the car, but it says that on the page for each car, so you just have to take it into consideration on your own. Long summary: I found the car I wanted online (2016 Mazda 3 i Sport) and I emailed Grappone asking about it. After getting some initial information, I headed in. After pulling up the car in the system, we discussed some additional points and then Robert pulled the car up for me. It still had the plastic on it, it seemed they had just got it in. The car looked great, but it was so new it hadn't had an initial inspection so I wasn't able to drive it just yet. Went home that night and looked around to see if I could find a better deal, which I was not able to. Went back in the next day, test drove the new car and was offered more money on my trade in than KBB's suggested amount. Signed all the paperwork and drove home later that night. Overall, I felt my experience was very good. Could I have gone to another dealership and negotiated for a better deal? Maybe, but I don't want to negotiate for a car. I want the price up front and not have a sales person go check with their manager to see if they can get a lower price. No thanks.

As a dyed-in-the-wool Saturn owner, I didn't really have to get a new car; at 75K, I had another lifetime-worth coming from my Vue, but I thought I should look around, just to see what's happened since 2008! I had one guiding principle in shopping for a new car: I needed to replicate the "Saturn Experience" as closely as possible. This was my 4th Saturn; I had bought my 3rd from Grappone, and was in another part of the state when I traded up to this one. I remembered the experience of working with Grappone's team then, including service on my Saturn til I moved as very positive...but 8 years later, I tried to be objective in the search. Having done my online research, I had my list of 4 vehicles that I wanted to look at, and Grappone had dealerships for 3 of them. How lucky I was to have hit the Mazda store first, and to have been met at the door by Ruth! Short story shorter, she understood instantly what I was hoping to find, and arranged for me to see all three of my choices on the same day. Interestingly, my 4th choice had to be cut from the list because the dealer didn't treat me as I expect to be treated when I'm about to drop $25,000 even leaving aside the 25 years' worth of Saturn's business model in my head. I was completely stunned when I learned that, even though Grappone couldn't keep selling new Saturns anymore (curse you, GM!!!), they adopted a very close child of the Saturn business model with their "up-front pricing" and trade-in protocols. I was home! Once Ruth got me into the CX-5 in the Touring trim, I wasn't leaving without it. That choice made, support for the rest of my purchase came from managers Mike and Bob, who couldn't have been more professional and, equally to their credit, they let me know along the way that they appreciate Ruth as much as I did! A real team doesn't just call itself a team; they act like one...kudos to this team at Grappone! To sum it up, I got a better-than-fair offer for my Vue, along with assurances that Grappone would be able to re-home my baby, since it easily met their expectations for a quality pre-owned car with a whole lot of life left in it....I hope it's true, it made letting an old friend go a little easier. Ruth gave me all the time I needed to complete the purchase and get comfortable in the car before I left the lot, and not saying goodbye before acquainting me with the folks in Service and the benefits there as well (free inspections for life??? yee-hah!). I'm looking forward to being back in Grappone's hands for my scheduled services, which I take very seriously with my cars. Oh, yes....the dog LOVES the CX-5 too...he's small enough to run back and forth on the reclining passenger seatback between his part of the car and mine, so his world is better too. I know the three of us are looking ahead to many happy years, and I can't thank Ruth and the folks at Grappone enough for helping me land in this next phase so happily!

Hello, I went to Grappone Mazda this past Saturday, the 7th, in an attempt to see if I could trade my truck in on a CX-5. My sales person was Jillian, who was very pleasant and helpful. However, the gentlemen in finance could use some customer service skills. I knew coming to Grappone, that I had negative equity in my truck, but I didn't know how much. I learned that I owed 32,000, and Grappone was only willing to pay 20,000 for my truck. In addition, I was willing to put 2,000 down towards a CX-5 Touring, so the negative equity to be rolled into the CX-5 was approx. 9,000 dollars. After some time waiting for responses from banks, your finance gentlemen came to me to say that he hadn't had any luck getting a bank to approve the loan, but left the conversation open ended. I asked if there was anything else to do, and he replied that I would need to "write a check for 12,000 dollars". I was asking if he had exhausted all the finance institutions that Grappone uses, or if he was going to continue trying to get me financed. His only reply was that If I wanted to make the deal, I would have to write a check for 12,000 dollars. This doens't make sense to me, since the negative equity being rolled into the new car was approx. 9,000 dollars. My concerns are two: First, I felt that Grappone could have given me more for my trade. While the truck had 43,000 miles (all highway), it was in very good condition. Second, your finance representative was rude and not helpful. I left Grappone not knowing with any certainty, if I could have gotten financed, or if all options were exhausted. Daniel Jones

Team Grappone nailed it. I just purchased a 2016 Mazda 3 and the buying experience was truly amazing. John Fay, David, Hannah and the service team were patient, thorough, astute and fun! All of my questions were taken seriously and answered in depth. I got to test drive several cars before finding my perfect fit and the financing portion of the deal was painless with no surprises. The way it should be!! I truly believe that Grappone has figured out the future of Auto sales. They focus on customer service and making the customer feel comfortable so they can make the right decision. They will work with you to find out the best way to take advantage of rebates/promotions along with finding the financing plan that works best for you. They provide upfront pricing and along with their process for evaluating trades, it helps to simplify the purchasing process as everything is laid out for you. There is no pressure at any point, and their goal is for the customer to have an overall positive experience. My Salesperson was Zeke D. and he was spot on with everything!!! I greatly appreciate the help in finding the best options for me to go with as far as financing and making it feel like we were on the same team. I’m very happy with my purchase and will continue to tell anyone that will listen to me how great my experience was. Thank you

I want to say thank you to John and the whole Grappone family! My mom bought her car here last summer and because of her I decided to check it out. Coming into a dealership alone, having all my questions be answered, and all pricing options laid out for me without the haggle was awesome. John was informative and patient with me as I wasn't sure whether to lease or buy. This place is awesome. The only issue was that the poor woman who did the paperwork (I'm thinking suzie??) was all alone that day and I had to wait a good 2 hours to get in to sit with her. After that, however, it took just minutes and I was driving away with my brand new car. John and Grappone even let me keep my old car there overnight until I had another driver to help me bring it home... That older woman in the lobby I asked about? She's one one of the owners. If I remember correctly her husband passed, and yet she comes in, almost everyday, plays her soduku, and keeps an eye on her business. It's nice to see there are still honest family run businesses around these days. Highly recommended; go visit John Fay and see for yourself!
