Shocked that anyone was working that early, I stumbled onto two people diligently working on their craft. I learned 3 principles to creating excellence that I want to share.

Working out of Catapult Lakeland, the entrepreneurial incubator, has exposed me to many great business people. Robyn and Nicoe are two powerful individuals.

Not only do they make the best smores you have ever heard of (I offer photos as proof), they put excellence into everything they do.

Here is what I learned from them:

---------------------
1. Excellence is more than show!
2. Partner, Partner, Partner
3. Stick to your Standards of Excellence

Want to Know How to be More Happy? In a discussion with Eli, a client and friend, about how to be more happy with the now, I told him the following.

Most people live in anxiety because they look to the future or the past but cannot do anything about it. Those people who live in “the middle of the now” often have the most amount of happiness and fulfillment.

+Vishen Lakhiani from +Mindvalley has much to say about how to be more happy in his video on flow (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8ZFU4FoNvY)

Your Happiness Activity

* - During work or tasks today, think about how far you have come in the last two years.
* - Experience the happiness of the progress you have made.
* - Then turn your attention to the work at hand with a renewed vigor.
* - Consider your ambitions for the future and think positively about them.
* - Then return your mind to how far you have come and the fact that you will achieve your goals.
* - Then, once again, turn your attention to the work at hand full of the happiness and gratitude of healthier paradigm.

What is Time Budgeting? Time budgeting is how you achieve more of your goals in a shorter period of time.

In fact, as stewards of energy, what we are really managing is not our energy but our time.

First take your total time available in a week (168 hours), subtract your Fixed Time Commitments (similar to fixed expenses in a money budget), and then apply the Pareto Principle to the remaining time.

Honestly, as far as specific vulnerabilities, I'm not sure. I only know that Firefox has always worked more reliably on my computer than Chrome. Granted, I wasn't aware of all of Chrome's plugins (Firefox has a plugin marketplace type thing, too, I believe). That helps with adblockers, etc. Also, there seem to be more websites that don't show on Chrome than Firefox - or at least, that's how it was when I stopped using Chrome a year or more ago.

The Cutting Edge of Your Field We will hit the breakaway moment in human civilization at the exact moment someone is blogging on why it can't be done.

I have found this to be especially true today. Are YOU on the cutting edge of your field? How can you get on the cutting edge of your field this week?

"How do you stand out in your job?" one of the attendees asked me last night at my training for the Entrepreneurship Innovation and Design class here at Catapult in Lakeland, Florida.

We took some time and I shared with him 4 keys to stand out in your job. I want to share those with you now.

The first thing to keep in mind, though, is that BEING AN EMPLOYEE IS OK! Many think that because we talk about entrepreneurship that we look down on employees.

Not at all! Entrepreneurs need more employees!

Thank you +Google Drive for adding Photos! I am waiting with bated breath for when I can give documents multiple tags (like Keep) but am also able to SELECT (CTRL click, PC) multiple tags throughout the Drive system. That will help me replace my Evernote entirely! Keep rocking.

Yes absolutely! Although the first time you try it, it may be more difficult than you thought it would be if you are a habitual complainer. However, if you make the effort to stop, you will become more aware of what you are doing and that, in and of it self, helps you grow.

This cannot be shared enough. What if we ran our blogs this way?

Ricardo Semler: How to run a company with (almost) no rules #TED : http://on.ted.com/a0kg5
The question beyond everything is "why do we exist?" If you can find the answer to that one, a new world will open up for you.
What if your job didn’t control your life? Brazilian CEO Ricardo Semler practices a radical form of corporate democracy, rethinking everything from board meetings to how workers report their vacation days (they don’t have to). It’s a vision that rewards the wisdom of workers, promotes work-life balance — and leads to some deep insight on what work, and life, is really all about. Bonus question: What if schools were like this too?
