It was raining and sunny at the same time a moment ago. When I was a kid we called this monkeys' wedding day. Did any of you have any other interesting names for sunny rain?

Calling all Portland Wordpress developers. NTEN is hiring. It's a great organization serving the nonprofit sector.
As a member of the IT Department, the Web Developer will play a pivotal role in implementation of a large website redesign. S/he will assist in the planning, development, configuration, integration and testing of new and existing web-based systems, working with both in-house development and ...

My organization is hiring three new positions, a sysadmin, an Executive Assistant & a Communications Associate. It's a great place to work and an exciting time to be a part of MMT. Applications close on Monday, March 16th, 2015.
On March 15, MMT will take a hiatus from some grantmaking through the summer and into the fall while we engage with our partners. The Trust is suspending our Responsive Grants and Grassroots Grants programs to reorganize our grantmaking into priority funding areas. After March 15, we will no ...

My organization is seeking assistance with a CMS-based website, preferably Drupal 8.
MMT's mission is shaped by our belief in a flourishing and equitable Oregon. We share an explicit commitment to equity. Our equity statement describes our understanding of equity as "the existence of conditions where all people can reach their full potential,” regardless of their race, ...

I think +Google Chrome's spellchecker might just be the worst spellchecker I've seen since the 90s. Hell, maybe the 80s. Isn't this a solved problem? How do we go backwards?

Just received a bug report about Google not displaying our organization's phone number correctly. A quick check revealed that our number was fine on Google so I checked Bing and sure enough it was wrong on Bing. So well done to Bing for sneaking yourselves onto someone's device as their default search... except for the part where they still call you Google.

Just deleted forum spam from Whatsapp. Really? All that Facebook money and you need bots to create fake users and post forum spam? Are you kidding me?

Introduction
South African writer, artist and programmer living in Portland, Oregon... the best city in the world for finding yourself, being yourself and being accepted for who you are. I found myself here too... I just forgot where I put me last.

What a lovely place. I was lucky to find Bronze Antler at a bad time. The great weather I'd hoped for and that had been in the forecast turned into endless rain and even some early fall snow. The idea of camping in that mess was unappealing so I stopped there. Heather was a warm and friendly host and the place was comfortable, cosy and welcoming, the perfect place to hunker down for a couple of days until the worst of the weather passed. It was also in very good shape, being very well cared for something not true of all the B&Bs I've stayed at. Their cleaner is astonishing as I normally have to contend with dust issues because of allergies, but not this time. The place was immaculate. The bathroom had everything you could hope for and a few things you'd never have expected. The shower was awesome. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. The furniture, art and fixings also all added to the experience. I'm not sure I've ever stayed at a B&B with more nice touches. If they have forgotten anything I have no idea what it could be. They have some nice touches aimed at romantic couples so if you're looking for a romantic place to stay in a beautiful part of the world where you will be very, very well taken care of, then this is the place. It's also a great place for those doing work, with good wifi, plenty of power ports, a desk and so on, as well as public spaces where one can comfortably work. And if you just want somewhere to rest your weary soul, this is the place. I plan to return.
