If you are part of the 1940 U.S. Census Community Project but aren’t part of a group yet, you should consider joining with one of your local genealogical societies http://ow.ly/9NuPT
Indexing is a fun and worthwhile (not to mention addictive) pursuit, but why do it alone? If you are part of the 1940 U.S. Census Community Project but aren't part of a group yet, you should consi...

FOR ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN THROUGH THE LOSS OF SOMEONE, NEAR OR FAR...
I don't know how I am feeling or how I should be feeling. An old colleague, roughly the same age as I, beginning 30's, passed away last night. Leaving behind his wife and 3 year old son, broke...

Please pass this along so that this good Samaritan knows how grateful my family is for his help.

On April 20th 2012 around noon you were driving down I-80 through Parley's Canyon in Utah. You saw a kid on the side of the freeway trying to waive a car down and you stopped to help without knowing what he needed. You helped the stranger load a young man with bloody mangled legs off of the mountain and into your car and drove them 30 minutes out of your way to the emergency room so that he could get the help he so badly needed. There is probably blood all over the inside of your car, but you helped anyway. You took no payment or anything else for your self-less service. The young men don't know your name, and they were both in such a state of shock that I am not sure if they even said thank you.

I want to take the opportunity to say thank you for both of them and for the rest of our family. Because of you my little brother was able to get to the ER in time. The X-ray found no broken bones. When they went in for cleaning and exploratory surgery they found all of the structure of the legs intact. They were able to clean everything out, get it sewn up, and he was able to go home that same night. The Dr. said that he expects a full recovery. This miracle was made possible by your help.

I don't know who you are and why you stopped, but I hope that this finds its way to you so that you so that we can express our gratitude.

Ryan

In 1946, Tupperware introduced its line of home products that includes storage containment products and serving products for the kitchen and home use. Ever wonder what you would do without Tuppereware?

I read an article today entitle "Drawing Inspiration From the Refrigerator". I thought to myself, the last thing I need are more ideas revolving around my refrigerator. Since the article was supposed to be about sewing, not eating, I read the article. So, "drawing" didn't mean "getting", it is referring to our kids art work hanging on the refrigerator. Duh!

Grandma Mashelleys Sews and Crochets
Introduction
Hello Ya'll, my name is Mashell (pronounced Machelle)  and I'm the sole proprietor of Grandma Mashelley Sews.  I believe that unique, cute clothing need not break the bank.

Recently I decided to put my sewing skills to work for me by starting a home sewing business.  I've been sewing since I was old enough to reach the sewing machine peddle. It wasn't until I reached my teens I learned the basics of crochet, but it was many more years before I mastered the craft.
