What good is an Ocean Front room if the window is so messed up you can't see through it? This was frustrating because I wanted so bad to look out my window and see the Ocean (still cold outside, so could not just leave window open). The bathroom floor did not look like it had been cleaned from prior person being in room (dust and hair in the corners). Room was changed due to my concern, as a female did not like having a room that is connected to another room; although I did not request a room change, the staff insisted that I change rooms if I felt uncomfortable, so, they were very accommodating and sincere with making sure I had a pleasant experience with their facility. Unfortunately, the 2nd room, the sliding glass window was so messed up with fog (or whatever happens to sliding glass doors that causes condensation to build up in between the glass. So, if you are looking for an Ocean Front room so you can enjoy the view, you may want to ask them if you can see out the window! For the money for the Ocean front room, definitely not worth it.

Well, the hot water heater was broken the entire time, the room was dirty and grimy (as in I picked up old fries off the very old carpet that was coming up from the floor) that the maids clearly didn't bother vacuuming. The door to the deck outside hadn't been washed in months or years... There wasn't even visibility out of it! We left after night 1 and went to a real hotel that cared about its guests! Other people were also complaining about the hot water issue but didn't ask for money off but we kindly spoke to the manager who gave us a partial refund for the 2nd night since we didn't stay however we are trying to get a full refund. Gross, trashy place...

Stayed two nights over a weekend. The staff was friendly and very accomodating. The room was clean and spacious with a view of the ocean. The hotel is close to a lot of restraunts, shops and clubs. We will go back again during the off seasons. The price was very fair . I have already told friends about the hotel and spoke highly of its location, rooms and fiendly staff. Thanks for helping to make it a great weekend!

DONT STAY HERE I stayed at this overpriced dump (putting it nicely) with my pregnant wife during a cruise week. There was a party going on 3 decks below us which wasn't even that loud or distracting. Her and I fell asleep and were woken up a couple hours later with what sounded like the SWAT team banging on our door. It was hotel security demanding that I open the door or "they're coming back with police". I opened the door and this security meat head barged into our room and demanded that we keep our party down. As I attempted to explain to this power abusive jerk that was very obvious at this point that we were asleep and it was not our party. This guy had the audacity to tell me "You should keep your mouth shut, unless you want to end up kicked out tonight". My wife was pregnant and this was the most disrespectful I have ever been treated by anyone who is running a business. I went down and complained to the desk manager and was offered no apology and told they would " look into it". Which judging by the fact that he was still working in the morning they never even disciplined him and sent him home at the very least. I will never stay at this place nor would I recommend it to my worst enemy. Don't stay here, there are plenty of other great hotels near by.

*sigh* YES! I am finally going all out and staying at The Grand--is what I was thinking all week leading up to it. The location is superb. The room was a normal hotel room, nothing amazing that stood out about it. Patio was good and view was even better. Elevator service was very slow, VERY-like maybe only 2 were going. We registered 4 people staying there and had to ask for towels every single day---on top of that coming off the beach at 5/6pm and our room was still not serviced or fresh towels dropped/dirty ones picked up. (yes-even when we hung out the request sign). Front desk staff was polite. $1000 for 3 nights-can probably fly to/from Jamaica, stay and eat for the same price. Indecisive on future stays....
