I hope this means men think "strong, principled, independent, sweet" women are attractive, as partners. Because that's how dads are raising them.

YES! Thank you, Google. +Andrew Karnavas, this one's for you.

We’ve all been there — you’ve searched under your car seat, tossed around the sofa cushions and you still can’t find your phone. If you know where your computer is, you can now ask Google to find your Android phone from your desktop. If the pesky phone is hiding nearby, Google can ring it for you — or you can see it on the map if you, say, forgot it at the bar. Just make sure you’ve got the latest version of the Google app!

Watch with the online +TEDMED community for #FREE about how the Maker Movement is transforming healthcare!

You may have caught our Great Challenges hangout last week on how the Maker Movement is transforming health and medicine. During this discussion, we explored how this trend is impacting the everyday work of creating a healthier world. And, we got such a great response from our TEDMED community that we think a part two of the discussion is in order. This time – it’s all about YOU. Please join us Wednesday, April 8 from 12-1 EDT to pick the brains of our experts and find out how you can be successful as a maker.

Once again, this Great Challenges “Medical Innovation” discussion will be moderated by Justin Barnes, health innovation strategist and host of the online radio program “This Just in.” Our group of expert makers will explore that special sauce that drives success as a maker, and will discuss navigating challenges and tapping into available resources for makers.

We want this hangout to be helpful to you, so let us know what you think! Please tweet your questions, comments and topics you’d like us to touch on with #GreatChallenges . Alternatively, please feel free to email us at challenges@tedmed.com. Our experts will answer your questions on-air.
This Hangout On Air is hosted by TEDMED. The live video broadcast will begin soon.

Hell YES. Stop treating it like an insult, because it isn't. Your mama was one. Your grandma was one. Your sister was one. Your wife/girlfriend/S.O. was one. Your daughter may still be one. #LikeAGirl like a BOSS!

This commercial has been around for awhile and the first time I saw this, I had my 9yo daughter watch it with me online. We saw it again on Super Bowl Sunday at a Super Bowl party. After the commercial finished, she told everyone, "I already saw that, my Dad showed it to me like last year!". She was proud to have already seen the commercial and I was a proud Daddy because of it.

Letting **it go...it's a good thing.
I have this habit of wanting everything to appear “perfect” before I share it with the world. The problem with that attitude is that nothing is ever “perfect,” so I sabotage myself from sharing so many worthwhile and fun things, and often prevent myself from being timely with ideas as I push ...

Perfect your photos in a snap with the new Snapseed

With billions of images being uploaded and shared on a daily basis, we want to make it fast and easy for people to perfect their photos. What once required a desktop computer, costly software and hours of editing work, can now be accomplished quickly in a powerful app --  +Snapseed

The new #Snapseed app gives you the precision and control of professional photo editing software on your phone or tablet. We’ve updated the app in many ways while staying true to our mission of helping everyone easily create extraordinary images. Here are the highlights:

New tools including Lens Blur, Tonal Contrast, intelligent perspective Transform, and Spot Healing

Selectively apply filters and effects to parts of the image using the Brush tool

Non-destructive editing via Stacks allows you to re-edit or undo any change. You can also copy edits from one image to another

Snapseed works with your phone camera shots as well as images from DSLRs, compact cameras, and more.

Get it today as it rolls out on the Play Store http://goo.gl/sQSfLM and the App Store http://goo.gl/irPbd4
