In 1986, Chuck Link began his quest to collect and complete the Capped Bust Half Dollar set. His set currently contains every Overton variety, and it is also the first complete set graded by PCGS. However, after 30 years of searching, his quest has ended. ‪#‎coincollecting
The final coin of the massive 453-coin Overton set reached the grading room of Professional Coin Grading Service capping a 30-year journey.

In Case You Missed It:

As of May 4th, there was a packaging change for American Gold buffalo coins. This change was made to help minimize damage to the coins. Click on the link below for more information. ‪#‎ICYMI‬ ‪#‎coins‬ ‪#‎numismatics‬

New Arrival at ‪#‎GovMint‬: 2016 50 Dollar 1-oz Gold Eagle NGC PF70 First Release

Today, one-ounce Gold Eagles are highly sought after by collectors who are trying to complete their collections. Being that 2016 marks the 30th anniversary of the $50 One Ounce Gold Eagle, both collector interest and demand have greatly increased. Because the mint is not required to strike Proof Gold Eagles, they can stop striking them at any time. Basically, it's important for collectors to purchase them whenever they are available, because you never know if - or when - the mint might stop! ‪#‎coincollecting‬ ‪#‎goldeagle‬

‪#‎Coin‬ of the Week: 2016 China 1 Gram Gold Panda NGC MS69

When the first China Gold Pandas were minted in 1982, they took the world by storm. The combination of high gold purity and substantial gold weight attracted buyers right away. The mintage for this 1 gram 2016 Gold Panda is only 600,000 coins, which is an incredibly small number! Each is struck in 99.9% pure gold. ‪#‎pandas‬ ‪#‎gold‬ ‪#‎numismatics‬
