Introduction

Gordon Kelly is a London, UK based writer and journalist specialising in technology. He works freelance for the BBC, Mens' Health, Stuff, Wired, TrustedReviews and the Scotsman, amongst others. He is also a professional copywriter whose clients include TomTom, SanDisk and Qualcomm.

Gordon was previously News Editor at TrustedReviews.com where he established the news section and helped it grow from a small start up to one of the country's largest technology sites with over 2 million unique visitors per month. In 2007 TrustedReviews was acquired by IPC Media.

Gordon began his career at VNU (now Incisive Media) as a Reporter on industry title Computer Reseller News (CRN). During his time there Gordon was promoted to Senior Reporter and featured in the Press Gazette (the industry paper for journalists nationwide) for his investigations into distributors' anti-competitive behaviour. He was also ranked amongst the top four most influential IT journalists in the country.

In the spare time he has Gordon is a film buff, guitarist and keen sports motorbike rider. He is also writing on a novel which has garnered interest from a number of publishing heavyweights as well as the BBC.

Academically Gordon attained a First Class Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Essex and a Master of Arts in American Studies (specialising in literature and politics) from the University of Nottingham.

Trivia about Gordon: he loves the city but was brought up riding horses in the countryside, suffers the horrors of supporting Newcastle United and never tires of being asked: "But you don't have a Geordie accent?"

How is this not illegal? You are clearly rewriting code to reverse the decision of the user both unknowingly and maliciously that it does clearly define malware. So how does one start a class action lawsuit? Seriously, I thought it was law that software, and this includes Operating Systems, that there be a cancel or a right to waive the upgrade similar to denying a license (to which then you are not allowed to use said software: in this case Win 10).

Depends entirely who you get. Lock smith servicers know what they're talking about and solved problem the customer facing staff had been befuddled with for about 20 minutes. In no time lock smith had picked the right form I needed (I had been given the wrong one) and told the customer facing staff member what he needed to do (3x!) the latter came back and asked who I was and if I needed assistance! So one guy was brilliant and professional but he admitted the customer facing staff don't have a clue! My tip: go straight to the guys who actually do the jobs, not the sales people.

Excellent service. Called in after another cheaper waste collector failed to turn up... twice! Enviro Waste turned up the same day. The men were polite and fast (they ran up and down 6 flights of stairs for 20 minutes!) to get the collection finished in the allotted time. Proper professionals. You get what you pay for.
