I think I'm getting over my Apple addiction. The clasp opened when I was taking my hand out of my pants pocket. Apple wants $229 to fix a $350 watch. What a screw.

I suggest taking it to a private jeweler like a goldsmith etc. I had my faceplate fixed for $30 everyone's so quick to turn to apple for their problems when local help is amazingly cheaper. Please look into it. (This only applies to glass) nothing more.

Entertainment Roundup

A big roundup of news and trailers today, from Star Wars homages in Marvel movies, Vision's first appearance in Age of Ultron, Daniel Radcliffe and Bill Paxton in the GTA movie Game Changer, Arnie's moving and beautiful trailer for Maggie and more!

http://geekslife.com/entertainment-roundup-meet-the-vision-star-wars-in-marvel-movies-and-more/
Movies Avengers: Age of Ultron – Introducing Vision Paul Bettany appeared on the BBC’s The One Show where he introduced his character Vision from Avengers: The Age of Ultron with a short clip. It’s not presented as a trailer, but you get to see a bit of Vision in action, which is pretty nice, and the first we’ve seen of the character ... Read More

Entertainment Roundup

I'm trying something new over on Geeks Life, with one post containing the best trailers I've come across in the worlds of film, TV and games. It will likely expand to include quick news bites, notable photos, etc. in the near future. Let me know what you think!

http://geekslife.com/entertainment-roundup-trailers-for-tomorrowland-ex-machina-and-witcher-3/
Film Tomorrowland I have to admit that Tomorrowland is a brand new movie on my personal radar. I hadn’t heard of it until this latest trailer dropped into my lap, but I’m really glad it did. This looks like a real fun science fiction mystery story, and features George Clooney and Hugh Laurie plus a screenplay by Damon Lindeloft and ... Read More

Hey guys--remember when we wrote "The Diamond Club" mock-novel? Today we release its self-help spiritual successor, "The Journey: Gifted Enlightenment" by the fictitious (and insufferable) Chet Paige.

All proceeds go to charity (Heifer International), and the crowdsourced book is INFURIATINGLY SMUG. It's really hilarious, and we'd love to see it hit #1 in "self help."

So today's the big day for the push, and right now's the time... if you got 99 cents for charity and want to help us create a little chaos, pick it up in the next hour or two (and leave us a funny review... we'll read them on Night Attack tonight!):

Yup. Visually of course it's just absolutely stunning, especially on PC. But I think more than any of that, I LOVE the writing in the single player story mode game. The main characters are SO well drawn and realized, and the voice acting is top-notch.

Walter Skinner to Return in New X-Files Episodes

Mulder and Scully have company when the show returns for a limited 6 episode run.

http://geekslife.com/walter-skinner-to-return-in-new-x-files-episodes/
Very happy to announce that Walter Skinner will once again be getting all grumpy and bitchy with his two wayward kids. Very happy. — Mitch Pileggi (@MitchPileggi1) April 20, 2015 It’s no longer breaking the news to report that The X-Files is returning in a limited run event with David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprising their roles as agents Fox Mulder ... Mockingbird & Lance Hunter to Lead New SHIELD Series

Okay, I was wrong, I admit it. I guessed that the new Agents of SHIELD spin-off show would be headed up by Skye. Turns out it's actually Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter that are taking the lead in it!

http://geekslife.com/mockingbird-lance-hunter-to-lead-agents-of-s-h-i-e-l-d-spin-off/
Well, you can’t win ‘em all! The last time I wrote about Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., I predicted that the new spin-off series would be lead by Skye. Turns out it’s actually Mockingbird and Lance Hunter who will be taking the lead in the new series, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The two characters were introduced as an ex-husband and ... Actually not a big fan of Bobbi Morse, but think Lance Hunter is a great character. So I guess it evens out for me.

Official Fantastic Four Trailer is Out

Here's our first extensive look at the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot film.

http://geekslife.com/fantastic-four-first-official-trailer-released/
20th Century Fox just released the first official trailer for the 2015 reboot of The Fantastic Four. As a rare breed, a fan of the first Fantastic Four series of films, I have to say I do like how this new treatment is looking. It’s pretty different, with a distinct difference in the ages of the protagonists over the original ... Read More

Star Trek Cosplay in Space

A new bar has been set in both cosplay selfies and space selfies.
"There's coffee in that nebula"… ehm, I mean… in that #Dragon. pic.twitter.com/9MYrqIOXnI — Sam Cristoforetti (@AstroSamantha) April 17, 2015 Astronauts have a long history of amazing selfies in space, but Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti has taken it to a whole new level by taking a cosplay selfie in a Star Trek uniform that gives her an uncanny resemblance to Star ... Introduction
I'm an indie author at Fiction Improbable and a blogger for GeeksLife.
I won NaNoWriMo 2011 after live-writing my stories. I continue to write daily at http://www.fictionimprobable.com where all of my work is available for free.
I have terrible difficulty deciding between writing under the name Gord McLeod or Gordon S. McLeod. Currently, Gord McLeod is winning.
Once upon a time, I designed video games for Ganz Studios, the makers of WebKinz and the announced Tail Towns project. Many many moons ago, I wrote and drew a short-lived forgotten web comic.

Cali and John set out to build a Disneyland (er, sorry Cali, DisneyWORLD) for geeks, and they have succeeded! In the scant few days I was there, I found references built into the place from Harry Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who, and a TON of incredible modern technology. You're greeted by Platform 9 3/4, then immediately brought into a Star Trek TOS-era transporter room. Then you leave the 1960s behind when you encounter a massive 4K display near the Hall of Fame patron display. Wander a little ways down either hallway past the kitchen and you'll discover what became of Jabba the Hutt's favorite decoration; Han Solo hangs on the GeekHouse wall. You will never find a more amazing house of fun and geekery.

Excellent food and service, despite it being a relatively busy Wednesday night with only one server. I had the smoky cheddar bacon burger, and it's easily one of the best burgers in the area. Would certainly go back again.
