Do any of your tools have the ability to automatically change certain cells if it contains a particular word without manually having to do it every time.

I am bringing data into sheets, via various third party API's and the wording is wrong.

Hello Goran,

Thank you for contacting us.
Our add-ons do not work with triggers at the moment, so you'll need to start them to perform the task. However, we do plan to implement some kind of automation in the future. Could you please describe your task in more detail? Do you want to replace one value with another, add some text, or do anything else? If possible, please provide an example.

Dont Trust Sessions in Google Analytics

Recently, by default, we check all new client Analytics accounts,  to ensure that the session timeout has not been changed to a different value.

Imagine the confusion when the session timeout is changed to 1 minute as oppose to 30...

And the poor client who is not getting as many visits/sessions as they thought... There are lots of good uses for this feature though.

We are currently tracking all gclid's to our domains, approximately 4 out of every 100 are displaying a * instead of the gclid. Any thoughts...

Does anyone know if Google is going to allow us to import Annotations through the Analytics API.

They need to first add all funnel steps (not just first and last) before they add something like annotations into the API... There has been a request before on the Analytics developer forum for this but the list of requests is 1000 lines long. Maybe one day we will be lucky.... but as for now...Google please add all the funnel steps to the API

Google figures out how to read tables and display them in SERPs

New Structured Snippets Roll Out
According to the Google Research Blog, Google has rolled out new structured snippets that can read factual tabular data, and display it in the SERPs as part of the snippet.
It was announced yesterday in a post on the Google Research Blog that Google has rolled out a new feature that can show tabular data from your page under the description in the search engine results. That means that if you have a table of product specs, for example, on your page, relevant [...]

Semalt.com on the increase on our client sites (an seo tool). Great way to exclude it from client reports. You can do this for any referrer.

What's the real impact of Google+ on search?  Participate in this experiment and help us all find out.  Read the instructions below from the original post.

Need Your Help Testing Google+'s Impact on Search

It's been a long time since a test was run to see if Google+ activity could impact search. http://www.fromquarkstoquasars.com/introducing-the-tardigrade/ <----- Would love your help with this URL

It's a random page I found while searching after hearing about the #Tardigrade on Cosmos. Currently, the page ranks #26 in Google US non-personalized results.

Help needed:
1) Please don't link to this page from anywhere except Google+
2) Please do click the link from Google+ and take a gander.
3) Please do share the link itself in your own Google+ account, and +1 others' shares of the link. Feel free to use photos, too :-)
4) Please don't share the post link directly on other social networks

Thanks so much!

p.s. I'm aware G folks might see this and take manual action, but I'm hoping that won't be the case.

Story
Introduction
I started getting involved in online marketing more than 15 years ago, and I've never looked back.  I built my first site in the 90's, and started working with Google AdWords in 2006.  My company, Net Age, is a Google Gold partner in South Africa.

I love what I do.  When people ask what I want to do when I retire, I tell them I'm already doing it, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
