NEW Google My Business Feature
Google My Business has been rolling out another feature! Please let business owners know to be on the lookout for the new Questions and Answers section. They can use this feature to create FAQs and answer questions posted by potential customers.

To access the feature: search for the business on Google Maps from a mobile phone. Then, go to the Questions and Answers section. Android users will also see the feature on Google Maps.

Micro Moments
Micro-moments are more than just a trend. Since Google introduced the concept two years ago, micro-moments have become as much a part of consumers’ lives as the daily commute and trips to the grocery store. In fact, people can’t remember what it was like to not be able to learn, do, or buy things when the need struck by reaching for the device in their pocket. It’s an entrenched behavior—micro-moments are only multiplying and consumers actually expect more, better, faster.

Google continues to dig into the data generated by micro-moments. Here, Lisa Gevelber, Google’s VP of marketing for the Americas, introduces you to three new consumer characteristics the data is revealing. Consumers have become:

• More impatient
• More demanding
• More inquisitive
