Changes to the AMP report in Search Console
With the upcoming changes to how Google's Search shows AMPs / Accelerated Mobile Pages [1], we've updated the AMP status report in Search console [2]. The report now reflects that in the future, Structured Data will no longer be required to show AMP results on Google Search. In order to appear in the "Top Stories" carousel, the appropriate Structured Data [3] is still required though.
To make it clear that you can still use Structured Data with AMP, we'll now show these as informational items below the chart but they're not considered as errors on the page. To review a site's usage of Structured Data overall, also check out our Structured Data report [4] or test individual pages using the Structured Data Testing Tool [5].
