I think that does answer my question, thank you! I use Ajax page loads, which seem to be smoother and more efficient, I guess the robots only follow the # hashtag version like wix uses. I use push pop state for mine.
I'm in the middle of a redesign, I might stop using Ajax if the page loading score in web master tools is what the indexing engine goes by.
+John Mueller I really appreciate you responding!

Slow and steady wins the race—except when it comes to slow loading pages. Get suggestions for speed improvements by putting your #mobilefriendly site through PageSpeed Insights.

Two important #WebmasterNews announcements today:
1. Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal, meaning more #mobilefriendly sites in search results.
2. Starting today, we will begin to use information from indexed apps as a factor in ranking for signed-in users who have the app installed.

+Vishwesh Rajguru It depends on what type of content you are currently serving as Flash as to what the alternative would be. For video content you can use video without the flash wrapper. For animation you could use video, CSS3 animation, or SVG animation. For other uses you may be able to replace it with just HTML.

Also, you don't have to use responsive design. There are a number of different techniques you can use to provide content suitable for mobile devices. Depending on your target market, you might even decide not to make your content suitable for mobile devices at all, or to only make it available via an app.

+Steven Farber That is not true. We support 3 configurations: responsive design, dynamic serving and separate URLs. Take a look at https://developers.google.com/webmasters/mobile-sites/mobile-seo/overview/select-config

The comments here provide a good discussion on the 3 types: https://plus.google.com/114243819907053956301/posts/fS1BLn9r1Hn.

In the unfortunate event that your site is hacked, learn how others tackled the vulnerabilities and get tips for the recovery process from 2 actual case studies: goo.gl/XQiLsH.
