Ken Robinson is absolutely correct. Sadly, parents have been conditioned by the very education system he talks about to believe it's all about academic grades. Our current system is a disaster - the only saving grace is that it's the same around the world because the first major nation to work out that creativity is the most valuable resource a population can have, and to change their education system to encourage it, will leave the rest of the world behind. That country will certainly not be conservative, reactionary UK.
