As we announced in March, starting in May we are evolving the definition of a TrueView in-stream view. The new definition will include when a user engages with an ad in addition to watching the first 30 seconds or the entire thing. TrueView has always been about choice and control; now by optimizing your campaigns for views, and also for other engagements and actions you most value, TrueView helps drive demand and unlock the downstream actions - ultimately providing you with better marketing effectiveness and precision.

This week we made some changes to the Google AdWords exams and certifications in Partners so that you can get AdWords certified by taking the exams that are most relevant to your area(s) of expertise.  

To earn the AdWords certification, you need to pass the AdWords Fundamentals exam plus any one of the other AdWords exams (Search, Display, Video, or Shopping).

We’ve also released a new version of the AdWords Fundamentals exam that includes the latest changes to AdWords and has a greater focus on best practices.

Question: My Smart List is performing well. How can I see which campaigns are adding people who becoming a part of my Smart List?

Answer: Smart list is very powerful thanks to the algorithm powering this feature to enable best results. It will integrate information about all the visitors but you will not be able to deep dive into the list composition"

Question: Does remarketing apply to the same user across multiple devices?

Answer: Today, Mobile and Desktop users will not be retargeted across devices. This being said, the feature works on all platforms. You will be able to remarket on mGDN to your mobile visitors and on desktop to your desktop visitors. "

Question: Would you clarify why type of additional targeting is available when using AdWords tags instead of GA tags? You said something like ""RSA"" targeting but I couldn't hear.

Answer: Using AdWords Remarketing tag, you will have the ability to apply your Remarketing list both as a GDN targeting (GDN Remarketing) or apply it to a Search campaign (Remarketing list for Search Ads - RLSA). 
GA generated User lists are compatible with GDN Remarketing but not currently compatible with RLSA."

Question: When you set up a remarketing campaign, does it automatically start remarketing to your users? Or does there have to be a starting number?

Answer: Once your GDN Remarketing campain is set into the AdWords account, it will start showing to the list users selected. Though, the targeted lists must reach >100 active users to start triggering.

Answer: GDN Remarketing is not available today for Google Grants Accounts.
