Five students from JMU just helped out the Rockingham/Harrisonburg SPCA in a big way. This student group won a $5,000 donation from Google for the SPCA.

Hello Challenge Participants,

We've been working hard to evaluate all of your submissions and have been impressed by the great work we've seen from this year's Challenge. We hope to announce the 2016 results in just a few weeks, but in the meantime if you are interested in participating in the 2017 Challenge, please pre-register on the GOMC website in order to receive the latest updates about the launch of the next edition.

The next edition marks the 10th anniversary of the Google Online Marketing Challenge and we have some exciting updates in store for the program, so stay tuned!

Reminder: The 2016 GOMC campaign window ends on May 18th at 3:00AM PST. All teams should make sure their campaigns are paused in AdWords before this deadline. Campaigns will not be deactivated automatically. Teams will still be able to access their AdWords accounts after this date to assist with writing their post-campaign reports, but ads should not be serving after this deadline in order to remain eligible for the competition.

It also helps in marketing for NGOs in Indonesia by using Google Adgrants from Google for Non Profit through NGO Go Digital Program (https://idcloudhost.com/ngo-godigital/) Which did in Indonesia

The 2016 Google Online Marketing Challenge has officially come to an end. All post-campaign reports are in and the judging process is underway. We hope everyone enjoyed the learning experience and the opportunity to run real online marketing campaigns using real money to help real businesses grow.

Now that the 2016 GOMC campaign window has ended, a lot of you will be logging in to your student dashboard to upload your post-campaign report. Please remember to login to the student dashboard using the dashboard email address you originally registered under as a team captain and not the competition email address that you were assigned to login to your team's AdWords account, otherwise you will receive a 403 error.

With the 2016 Challenge coming to an end, you may be wondering how you can help your client continue running AdWords on their own. As noted on the GOMC website, the advertiser cannot run any other campaigns in the competition account, but you can use AdWords Editor to download your campaigns and send them as a file to your client to upload to a newly created account. See the GOMC website for more details!

Hi +Yashovardhan Malpani :) probably you try to access the dashboard using the GOMC AdWords account. To access the dashboard you should use the account with which you have created the dashboard and registered your team.

Welcome to the Official Google Online Marketing Challenge G+ Page!

The Google Online Marketing Challenge is a unique opportunity for students to experience and create online marketing campaigns using Google AdWords and Google+. Over 100,000 students and professors from almost 100 countries have participated in the past 8 years.

With a $250 AdWords advertising budget provided by Google, students develop and run an online advertising campaign for a business or non-profit organization over a three week period. The teams that develop and communicate the most successful campaigns win awesome prizes, including trips to Google offices. Students also have the opportunity to participate in the optional Google+ Social Media Marketing category by creating and managing a Google+ Page for their clients over a five week period.

The Challenge is open to student teams of three to six members from undergraduate or graduate programs, regardless of their major. All students must register under a verified faculty member, lecturer or instructor currently employed by an accredited higher education institute.
