Google Earth Engine Research Awards are one-year awards structured as unrestricted gifts to universities to support the work of world-class full-time faculty members at top universities around the world. The intent of the Google Earth Engine Research Awards is to support cutting-edge geospatial data analysis.  See our list of previous awardees to get a sense for the kinds of proposals that have been accepted in the past.

  • The Google Earth plug-in allows you to navigate and explore geographic data on a 3D globe using a web browser.
