Rio Janeiro - Christ The Redeemer
Lat:  22°57'6.95"S
Lon:  43°12'37.70"W
how to get coordinates?
I don't think it's Christ The Redeemer, isn't in a hill?
thats not rio d janeiro.  i looks like a country that drives on the left side of the road.
Alright so another hint would be awesome...
Just added another clue. Good luck!
The statue of christ the redeemer is on top of a mountain (and it is white).  NYC is primarily a grid.  This is neither.  If I had to guess, Judging from the highways, the left side driving and the color of the ground (red-clay), I would guess this is somewhere in south Africa or Australia.
i'm thinking it's somewhere in Thailand...
yep found it, the three-headed elephant in Bangkok at the Erawan museum.
Yes, it is in Thailand. It is the Erawan Museum. Isn't it? (13.62845,100.589087)
Erawan Museum
Thanon Sukhumvit, Bang Mueang Mai, Mueang Samut Prakan, Samut Prakan 10270, Thailand
Nice work! +Nicolas André, with +Pedro Pérez just behind him. This is the Erawan Museum, near Bangkok, Thailand, or if you want its full ceremonial name: Krungthepmahanakhon Amonrattanakosin Mahintharayutthaya Mahadilokphop Noppharatratchathaniburirom Udomratchaniwetmahasathan Amonphimanawatansathit Sakkathattiyawitsanukamprasit.
I'm half expecting Google Now on my Nexus to give me driving directions to that place since I looked for it on Maps... :)
Try looking at the Erawan Museum on Google Earth.  When you zoom in, the elephant is in 3D.  Pretty cool!
Good work.  I was looking in thailand for 45 minutes.
Doesn't look anything like Australia btw.
What a fun puzzle! It is the giant three headed elephant statue at the Erawan Museum in Bankok Thailand. 13deg 37min 42.47sec N
100deg 35min 20.80 sec E. The view has the top of the pic approx pointing Eastwards at an altitude of approx 280m. Why can't we have one of these every day :)
Oops. Sorry folks. My first time here. Didin't notice that the comments went from the oldest down to the newest. Well done to the previous posters.
