Researchers have discovered previously unknown forests in Angola with a little help from Google Earth. These old growth forests are home to a variety of rare bird species, making the area an important site for future conservation efforts.

It strikes me that the best way to preserve an important and previously unknown forest might be to not tell people that it exists.
