+Andrew Rulnick No what I was wondering if you knew they determined which to display. Say we have two doctor pages and their clinic page. I didn't know if in the 7 pack they rotated the three listings evenly or if there was an algorithm. When I see them in the 7 pack, sometimes it's one of the doctors and other times its the agency page. I didn't know if we have more reviews say for the clinic page it would start to show more often or not.

Starting to test Google Domains

It's 2014 and it seems obvious, but across laptops, tablets and mobile devices, a website is one of the first places people go to find information about a business. But amazingly, our research shows that 55% of small businesses still don't have one.

So as we explore ways to help small businesses succeed online (through tools like Google My Business [http://goo.gl/Ajvbn5] ), we thought it made sense to look more closely at the starting point of every business’s online presence - a website. And that starts with a domain name.

We’re beginning to invite a small number of people to kick the tires on Google Domains [http://goo.gl/pHvjoO], a domain registration service we’re in the process of building. Businesses will be able to search, find, purchase and transfer the best domain for their business - whether it’s .com, .biz, .org, or any of the wide range of new domains that are being released to the Web.

Google Domains isn’t fully-featured yet, but we’re giving a small group of people the ability to buy and transfer domains through it and send feedback on their experience. (You currently need an invitation code to do so, sorry!) We want input on all the ways we can help make finding, buying, transferring and managing a domain a simple and transparent experience. We also want to make sure our customer support and infrastructure works flawlessly, and that we have the right additional services (like mobile website creation tools and hosting services from a range of providers, as well as domain management support). We're working with some of the top website building providers like +Shopify, +Squarespace, +Weebly, and +Wix.com  to help make that happen.

While we’re still building out all of the features, our goal is to make Google Domains more widely available soon. You can check out the first cut of what we’re working on at www.google.com/domains.

The video is now live. If you have follow-up questions, we encourage you to ask them in our Q&A thread, here: https://plus.google.com/115267360226604625553/posts/CX91mS5BVrk

In the last few years, domain names have evolved beyond .com to give businesses an opportunity to find an extension that is more relevant to them. For example, coffee shops can now get a <business name>.coffee domain for their websites. Join the Google Small Business Community and Michael McLaughlin, the SVP of Domains at +GoDaddy for a Hangout on June 23. He’ll be discussing what’s changed in the industry of domains and how it impacts your business.

Following the Hangout, +GoDaddy will be in the Google Small Business Community for a Q&A to answer your questions via text in a comment thread that will be posted at 12:30pm.

Starting today we’re offering all Google+ pages access to Insights reports. Insights provides key info that helps you tailor and optimize your Google+ content. Read on below to learn more about what information you'll learn about your Google+ page.

Introducing Insights for Google+ pages

To date, millions of brands and organizations have created Google+ pages to interact with their audience on Google. We’ve seen President Obama and +The White House, for example, take a virtual road trip across the country, answering questions from everyday Americans (http://goo.gl/kJBlKa). Manchester United recently gave fans front row seats to the +Manchester United  v. +Liverpool FC  match via Hangout (http://goo.gl/KA7GsO), and +Converse  showcased the results of its #ChuckHack design hackathon in their Google+ Community (http://goo.gl/gX4xE4).

Many of you have asked for more data about how your social content is performing and who your audience is on Google+. So starting today, we’re offering all Google+ pages access to Insights reports. Insights provides key info that helps you tailor and optimize your Google+ content, including:

- Visibility: All time total, photo, and post views, and how page impressions have trended over time.
- Engagement: Which types of posts are getting the highest level of engagement on Google+.
- Audience: Get an overview of your follower demographics.

To see a full list of available metrics, download our guide: http://goo.gl/p06NWS or please visit http://goo.gl/tAwPnW. You can check out Insights by visiting your page's dashboard on desktop, and via the Google My Business Android app (http://goo.gl/adI9jq). The iOS app will be available in the App Store soon.
