There's a really interesting article in this week's +The Economist on how copyright reform is developing in different countries. It raises an interesting question, how can rights holders be protected while stimulating innovation and growth in the economy? But is this a false dichotomy? Can we not both innovate and protect property rights?

One thing is certain, the terms and conditions do need to change to accommodate the age of digital, social and other media which is changing at quite a fast pace compared to the laws that regulate them.

Furthermore, most of those one might even consider obsolete.
