Myth: Google has declined my payment 

Verdict: False!

Explanation: We never decline a payment! 
There is although cases when a payment is declined and to resolve this you need to figure out why?

Usually this involves contacting your bank or credit card company to fix the issue.

Then you'll have several options to pay off your overdue amount, which will allow your ads to run again. Read more about the different decline reasons and steps to resolve it here:

Myth: The only way to grow on the Search Network is to add more keywords

Verdict: False!

Explanation: The science of search (sounds more fancy than it is) is a concept to frame search advertising. Goal is to maximize your relevant query of keyword coverage and make sure you are present always when possible. Historically this have been done by adding more keywords. Secondly, when you have the right keywords you want to make sure that you are visible as much as possible, what we in AdWords call “impression share” and in order to maximize this, we need to set the right bids on your keywords and make sure that the budget is enough. Even more important is also the structure of the account and to divide it after certain areas such as product types, generic/specific services, locations etc. This could be a time consuming work but we know it increase ROI and therefore we will now show you ways that can save time. Why not use the automated search products and “add ons” that are sometimes overlooked in the Nordics?

Myth: I just started my campaign, ad group, ad or keyword but something is wrong

Verdict: In most cases false!

Explanation: A common reason for  advertisers calling us saying their ads isn’t shown, is just due to that they check the wrong day. Usually by default, the time range will be set for the last 7 days and this time range doesn’t include the existing day. So make sure to change the time range to: “Today” and stay patient. 

It’s also important to remember that the campaign, ad group, ad or keyword will not do a sky rocket start, but instead slowly get more impressions and clicks. 
If your campaign, ad group, ad or keyword after 24 hours still haven’t got any clicks or impressions, then please contact us and we will help you find out why.

Explanation: There are a lot of AdWords material localized in the Nordic languages, starting from the AdWords Help Center (SE, FI, DK, NO).
