Wouldn't recommend goodville mutual. They cancelled my policy on my house because they didn't like my front steps. They made it difficult for me to get another policy because they cancelled me if they would have told me upfront it would have saved a lot of hassle

Quick Responsive Claims Service. There when you need them. My claim was settled quickly and fairly. I am a policyholder and a employee of this company.

I was heartbroken because I had lost a favorite necklace on vacation. Filed a claim with my local insurance company on April 4, 2016. They opened the claim with Goodville, and the Goodville adjuster called me on April 5 (she was awesome!). I received my full check on April 13. Couldn't have gone any better. Thank you, Goodville!

I was with Goodville less than a month, the customer service was beyond rude. I was able to get Nationwide for less with better coverage. Goodville reported that I had a lapse in coverage which is not true. My awesome Nationwide agent attempted to assist with the issue and Goodville admitted that I had insurance but will do NOTHING about it. My Nationwide agent said he has NEVER encountered such a rude and unethical insurance company. AVOID GOODVILLE

I would give 0 stars if it was possible. Stay away from this company. They are great at cashing your checks, but do not count on them taking care of issues when you need them. Stick with a reputable company, this is not one of them.

Thought Goodville was ok until I recently filed a claim. This is the 1st claim I have ever filed with any company, so I have nothing to compare to. Filing was simple, easy, & quick - 5 minutes online - great! However, I played phone tag with the representative assigned to me for 2 weeks. I finally emailed her & it was 5 days before she responded (2 of those days were a weekend). My mechanic offered to contact her directly, which finally got things moving & someone came out to do an estimate. However, Goodville did not contact me or send me a copy after they received the estimate. They did not provide any info or help as to acquiring a rental car & having it billed to them, since rental cars are covered under my policy. The hours are 8am-4:30pm...so I can't call before or after work & I don't have the kind of job where I can just make personal phone calls whenever. Today was the 1st time I actually spoke with the agent on the phone. She was not friendly, or pleasant, or helpful, very disappointing! She makes me feel like I'm an inconvenience.

Absolutely everything that is wrong with the insurance industry. I have owned my home for 23 years and never made a single claim. I have no debt and excellent credit. I made a book keeping error, and forgot to pay my premium. They refused to even consider issuing a new policy. Hateful people.
