The Pete Dye Course at Mission Hills Shenzhen is the very first Dye designed course in China. Visit Mission Hills Shenzhen when you travel with Golf Tours Abroad.

Location: Shenzhen, China
Designer: Pete Dye
Distance: 6828 yards
Course Par: 72

Opened: 2016
Longest Hole: 611 yards
Shortest Hole: 106 yards
# of Bunkers: 178
Caddies: Yes – compulsory
Carts: Yes – compulsory

The Pete Dye Course is located at the Shenzhen section of Mission Hills and is the very first Dye design in China. It offers a marked departure from Mission Hills’ other 11 layouts, presenting the golfer with a unique look and feel. At just over 6,800 yards and playing to par 72, it is short by today’s standards yet requires creative and careful shot-making. Golfers encounter many elements long-associated with Dye Courses: small pot bunkers, long tee to green waste areas, railroad ties used as sleepers and walkway steps framed by tall, native grasses to provide a sharp, visual contrast. The greens are wildly undulating, especially on the numerous short par 4s.

The Norman at Mission Hills Shenzhen China is rated as one of Asia’s toughest assignments. Visit Mission Hills Shenzhen when you travel with Golf Tours Abroad.

Location: Shenzhen, China
Designer: Greg Norman
Distance: 7228 yards
Course Par: 72

Opened: 1993
Longest Hole: 644 yards
Shortest Hole: 147 yards
# of Bunkers: 87
Caddies: Yes – compulsory
Carts: Yes – compulsory

Australia’s Greg Norman has developed a reputation for designing challenging golf courses wrought in the traditional stylings of the native Australian Sand Belt region. The Shark’s 7,228-yard offering at Mission Hills follows suit, as narrow fairways surrounded by long, native grasses and dense forest vegetation contribute to the layout’s reputation as one of the most difficult courses in Asia. The front nine meanders through dramatic mountain ridges and hillsides, while the back nine lays gingerly in one of the property’s many lush valleys.

The Rose Poulter Course at Mission Hills Shenzhen China is a must-play risk & reward design. Visit Mission Hills Shenzhen when you travel with Golf Tours Abroad.

Location: Shenzhen, China
Designer: Justin Rose & Ian Poulter
Distance: 6918 yards
Course Par: 72

Opened: 2014
Longest Hole: 583 yards
Shortest Hole: 150 yards
# of Bunkers: 139
Caddies: Yes – compulsory
Carts: Yes – compulsory

The Rose Poulter course is set within a stunning valley of age old trees and jungle vegetation. This course was formerly known as the Duval Course. The new co-design by Justin Rose & Ian Poulter has brought an exciting risk/reward opportunity on many holes and is a great venue for a match play format where players are asked to take chances along the way with less regard to overall medal scoring. The course evokes a much more natural feel with a significant amount of the bunker complexes transitioning into native vegetation, creating a much more flowing and integrated relationship with the outside vegetation and towering mountains.
