+Tiger Woods has committed to play in THE PLAYERS Champioship next month. Can he build off of his solid performance at Augusta?
Tiger Woods has announced that he will compete in the Players Championship May 7-10 at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Woods won the Players Championship in 2001 and 2013. The announcement comes on the heels of a T17 finish at the Masters for Woods in April, the first tournament he played in since withdrawing from the Farmers Insurance Open in February. For the first time in championship history, the +United States Golf Association (USGA) will allow spectators to use cell phones at the upcoming 2015 U.S. Open. Is this a good idea? or recipe for disaster?
The use of cell phones will be allowed at the 2015 U.S. Open at Chambers Bay for the first time in championship history, the USGA announced in a press release Wednesday. "Spectators may carry mobile devices smaller than 7 inches in length and/or height, including cellphones, smartphones and PDAs," the press release reads. What an unbelievable week for +Jordan Spieth at the #Masters.
AUGUSTA, Ga.—Your new Masters champion talks to his ball, has a short game that combines the best of vintage Tiger and Phil, and when standing over short putts will look at either the ball or the hole, depending on how he feels. Jordan Spieth, following up on his second-place finish in his Masters debut last year, never came back to the field on Sunday, shooting a final-round 70 to beat Phil Mickelson (69) and Justin Rose (70) by four strokes. S...

+Jordan Spieth was some kind of locked in yesterday at the Masters, shooting a first-round 64, only one shot off the record. He leads by 3-strokes heading into day two.
AUGUSTA, Georgia—The first round of the Masters featured soft greens and perfect weather, serving up an eclectic leader board in which the top 11 players have one important thing in common: None of them has won a green jacket, though a few have been close enough to know how much work remains. Jordan Spieth, a last year, holds a three-stroke lead after a macho 64 that included birdies on some of Augusta National’s toughest holes, including 4, 9, 1...

The first round after his Masters victory, +Jordan Spieth struggled to a 3-over finish. Worried? Don't be. He followed that up with a second round 9-under 62...
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (AP) -- Jordan Spieth fixed his game in a hurry. He shot a 9-under 62 Friday to get back in contention at the RBC Heritage. He had opened with a 3-over 74 in the first round but recovered with the second-lowest round ever at Harbour Town Golf Links. He was one shy of the record 61 by David Frost in 1994. Spieth's nine-birdie, no-bogey performance moved him from tied for 93rd and outside the cut line this morning to tied...

Wow. +Jordan Spieth has just recorded the lowest score thru 36 holes in the history of the #Masters at 14-under. It's also tied for the lowest shot total in any major thru 36 holes. Unreal.
