#Vitamin #intravenous #infusion #therapy

Vitamin IV therapy is a form of intravenous therapy involving doses of vitamins and minerals much higher than is typically found in a vitamin supplement.
Oral vitamins often upset the stomach if taken without sufficient food, or can interact with other prescriptions if taken too close together.
IV vitamin treatments can be modified based on a specific ailment (such as boosting the immune system) or can be done on a regular basis for general health. Vitamin IV therapy treatments can last anywhere from 20 minutes to one hour, depending on the size and ingredients of the IV bag.
IV vitamin therapy is generally regarded as a safe treatment and has been used for over 40 years by Medical Doctors in the United States. Mild side effects may include a feeling warmth or flushing due to increased circulation, and the distinct taste of B-vitamins. Some people may experience lowered blood pressure and light-headedness. Side effects can generally be avoided by slowing down the rate of infusion. Other side effects may included redness or mild discomfort at the site of injection, which typically gets better shortly after treatment.
Vitamin IV therapy (often termed a Myer’s cocktail) can be beneficial for the following conditions:
Acute or Chronic infections (including frequent colds and flu)
Asthma and Allergies
Chronic Fatigue/Fibromyalgia
Cancer therapy support
Digestive absorption problems (including IBS, UC ,Crhon's disease, Celiac disease)

#Differences #between #sugaring and #waxing

Nowadays, there are many different methods to remove annoying body hair. One of the most common methods has been used for several hundred years. It comes from the Orient and actually enjoys new popularity: Sugaring. In addition to classic waxing, sugaring is currently the most frequently applied method for hair removal.
Sugaring – Hair removal with sugar paste
Sugaring is performed with a sugar paste, which is also called Halawa in the Arabian region. The sugar paste is made of all-natural ingredients: sugar, lemon juice and water. Therefore, sugaring is particularly suitable for people with allergies and sensitive skin. Sugaring is a particularly thorough type of hair removal. The reason is basically because the sugar paste is applied against the direction of the hair growth and pulled off with it. With this technique, less hair breaks and rather removed with the root.
Waxing – Hair removal with wax
During the waxing process, body hair is removed with the help of hot or cold wax. For this method you also need fleece stripes to remove the wax from the skin. The wax is applied in the direction of the hair growth, the fabric stripe is placed on the skin and withdrawn against the direction of the hair growth.
Comparing Sugaring and Waxing
Both methods seem to be very similar, but different techniques of applying and removing the pastes, make the noticeable difference. Many people perceive the sugaring technique as less painful, since only the hair is covered from the sugar paste and is not combined with the skin.
Which method may be less painful usually depends on the individual perception. But the more often you perform the depilation, the more pleasant is the treatment. The hair grows thinner after depilation and thus can be removed better. One thing is certain, after both methods you are guaranteed free of hair!

#Sudatonic #Infrared #Slimming #Wrap

According to creator Sofia Higgins, the blanket, together with a natural barrier cream and plastic sheet, promotes perspiration and re-energizes the body within 40 to 70 minutes. “It’s like going on a treadmill to boost your metabolism and to sweat.” she says.
Pregnant clients or those who have pacemakers, cardiovascular problems, high blood pressure, skin diseases or joint replacements should consult their physician before undergoing infrared blanket treatments.
Your success is our success. Pain Relief, Fat Loss, Weight Loss, Cellulite Reduction, De-Stressing of the Body……all in one!!
Pre and post treatment
As the saying goes try not to re-invent the wheel. The best results we see are with those that follow these instructions. Two bites of a protein bar is not good enough for a marathon runner or someone walking briskly for 3 miles-which is what the calorie expenditure is like with a sudatonic treatment. You need clean healthy food/meal before -but not a meal that stuffs you. Soda and alcohol impede fat loss because the body will use these empty calories as energy first before tapping into the fatty acids. Coffee affects insulin levels as well and it is best to drink decaf the days of the sudatonic treatments. Healthy eating habits include: lean protein, fresh fruits and vegetables, lots of water to flush toxins.
The thermal sudation (sweating through thermal heat) does not make fat “leave” the body. Instead, stored fat is converted into fatty acids and used by muscles for energy. The heating of the body and need to cool down through perspiration must be fueled by energy, this fuel comes from the converted fatty acids (now energy) that was released by the fat cells. Not only is there fat loss and cellulite reduction but many added health benefits such as muscular, rheumatoid and arthritic pain relief, enhanced immune system, cardiac conditioning and elimination of toxins.

The #Pros and #Cons of #Permanent #Makeup

Right now, cosmetic enhancements like full lips and full brows are all the rage. Check Instagram, and you'll find thousands of photos of women who've undergone procedures to get eyeliner, eyebrows, or lip color stained on. Celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Gwen Stefani are rumored fans, but many top technicians stay mum about their A-list clientele. Of course, you can make your brows and lips pop with a little extra liner or brow powder—but some are going to more extreme lengths for the perfect pout or shaped eyebrow.
The Good
Women usually get this procedure to save time. For instance, this past July, Cosmopolitan Australia editor Amelia Bowe decided to have permanent lipstick applied outside her lip line. Instead of constantly using liner to create fuller lips, she got the appearance of a subtly enhanced pout without the daily hassle of wearing liner.
The results are meant to be subtle. Think of permanent makeup like a delicate tattoo. "The biggest difference with permanent makeup application is that we don't want anyone to know what we did," says anesthesiologist and permanent makeup technician Linda Dixon, M.D., president of the American Academy of Micropigmentation. "We want women to look like themselves, only better."
The Bad
That said, permanent makeup isn't without issues. Lisa Cocuzza was living in Citrus County, FL, when she decided to have the procedure done at a local spa where her sister-in-law was the manager.
Her hope was that permanent eyeliner would solve the humidity-induced melting she had to deal with. "Instead, the numbing solution used to numb my eye area for the eyeliner application actually burned my cornea, and I had three months of discomfort," Cocuzza says. "I never tried the procedure again, and never will."

1) Proprietary Blended Creams,
2) Advanced Cellulite Massage Technique – DermaContour™, and
3) FAR Infrared Heat (FIR).
The combination of these 3 steps enable the Sudatonic System to stand out among other body treatments available. The Sudatonic System has been called an Advanced Body Wrap or Cellulite Massage by technicians… and Heaven on Earth by clients. So, whatever you need to call it, it is amazing!
How does it work? The Sudatonic creams consist of essential oils which activate the physiological process of eliminating fat cells. The Sudatonic cream is applied to an extra layer of skin and the patient is then wrapped in a special blanket with infrared heat. The body’s natural reaction to sweat, to cool down, but the extra layer of skin makes it more difficult for the body. The treatment breaks down fat cells to help push the sweat out through the extra layer of skin. As the body sweats to cool down, fat lobes release adipocytes so they can be burned.
As the body temperature rises by infrared heat, perspiration occurs and blood circulation increases. The muscles and organs are stimulated and toxic waste (fat, heavy metals and other toxic materials) is removed from your body through perspiration.
One of Far Infrared light’s characteristics is the ability to easily penetrate human tissue. When this happens, it creates a natural resonance, which has many beneficial properties.

#Face #Care #Tips: 5 #Dos and #Don'ts for #Naturally #Beautiful #Skin

1. The Golden Rule
Do: Make sure you always (and we mean always) remove your makeup before hitting the sheets. The skin needs to breathe overnight. And makeup prevents that, as leaving it on overnight clogs the pores which may cause blemishes and/or blackheads. Don’t possess a makeup remover? Just put some olive oil on a cotton pad and gently massage the oil onto your face to get rid of the makeup and dirt.
2. Sun and Skin
Do: Apply sunscreen with SPF of at least 15 that blocks both UVA and UVB rays. Since a lifetime of sun exposure can cause wrinkles, age spots and other skin problems, you have to protect your skin from the sun. Make sure the label reads ‘noncomedogenic’ or ‘nonacnegenic’ so that the product does not tend to block pores.
3. You are What You Eat
Do: Keep a note of what you put on your plate. Eat fresh fruits, greens, sufficient protein and vitamins. A diet rich in vitamin C and low in fats and sugar promotes radiant skin. Consider a low-sugar diet, which can keep insulin levels down, allowing cells to maintain a healthy balance.
4. Sweat It Out!
Do: Exercise regularly. Running, jogging and yoga will give your body the necessary blood circulation, and also accelerate the cleansing process of your entire body. You will notice a glow on your face after working out. Racing against time? Just take a brisk walk around the block.
5. Beauty Sleep
Do: Try to sleep at least 8 hours every night. If you don’t get enough shut eye, your skin gets tired just like you - it sags and you get bags. So don’t risk it. You can also apply honey on your face twice or thrice a week to naturally soothe and heal your skin.

Collagen Induction Therapy, also known as micro needling and dermal needling, is a revolutionary approach to anti-ageing. It stimulates the body’s own natural collagen repair and growth processes to significantly improve skin tone, texture and impurities. It is a very cost effective treatment with minimal or zero downtime and is safe and effective.
Micro-needling utilises and enhances the body’s own natural response to healing. A sterile roller with hundreds of tiny 1mm micro needles makes tiny pin pricks when passed over the skin. This causes skin cells to make new growth factors, collagen and elastin, which in turn make skin smoother, firmer and more radiant.
Unlike some other treatments it treats the entire face and is gentle enough to be used around the eye area.
Results can be visible within a week of treatment. Your skin will progressively improve over the next few months as the healing process that rebuilds your own natural collagen and elastin continues and replaces your damaged tissue. Optimal improvement is seen six months after your treatment course has finished.
Collagen Induction is suitable for all skin types and colours. It reduces wrinkles, fine lines and helps with lack of firmness, enlarged pores, acne scarring, stretch marks and sun damage. It also encourages the disappearance of red veins.
A topical anaesthetic is applied before the procedure to minimise discomfort. Most of our clients describe a mild ‘prickling’ sensation as the roller is passed over your skin. The treatment is not painful.
Vitamins A and C are critical to Collagen Therapy. After the rolling process, Vitamins A and C are then applied and can penetrate into the lower layers of the skin.
