We just released new EXE demos of the FMX Document Viewer for Windows. This is a preview before the main release.

In this release we worked on the redesign of the page painting/rendering code. We wanted to achieve the following on all devices:
1. Fluid scrolling and zooming without holdups due to rendering/painting.
2. Incremental painting and update of pages in view. Useful when rendering heavy pages.
3. Intermediate views based on previous image before painting at current zoom level.
4. Limitless zoom level.
5. Minimal use of memory and CPU resources.

This involved designing and implementing code in various areas - background rendering threads and new logic for all the above explained goals. We happened to redesign it several times before arriving at the current version, which is very close to final. The max zeroes you see for the zoom percent is real.

We are pleased to announce a mega release of XtremeDocumentStudio Delphi. This release includes major enhancements in PDF rendering with native rendering for all FMX platforms - Win32/64, OS X, iOS and Android. We've been working on the new VCL and FMX document viewers in #XtremeDocumentStudio #Delphi perfecting all the areas on each platform. Smooth inertial panning is now supported across all devices and interactive gestures for panning and zooming on touch devices.

Gnostice #StarDocs Cloud API 2017 R3 released
We are pleased to announce the release of StarDocs On-Premises 2017 R3. The R3 release enhances the Document Viewer by introducing support for simple formatting of numbers in form fields. It also adds support for simple number calculations in form fields. Supported calculations are SUM, PRODUCT, AVERAGE, MIN, MAX, and simple JavaScript calculations. This release also includes important fixes in the DOC and DOCX engines, and in handling of Unicode strings.

StarDocs On-Premises edition is shipped as a virtual appliance that you can easily host on your virtualization platform on your private servers.
