A few years back, I attended a (secular) writer's conference here in Missouri. I had an encouraging session with an editor, a bizarre session with an agent ("If it ain't about vampires or werewolves, nobody wants it"), and a roundtable book critique that was one of the best things I did. The most memorable session was a poet from Arizona who talked about grammar -- and it was one of the best sessions they had. I later brought him to my company for a writing session with all the communications people, and he was another hit.

Interesting experience, Glynn! So, I assume you wrote no books on angels as vampire slayer?

I suspect other members of our CP&W group and Christian communicators in general would love to hear more about those grammar tips. If you have a chance, post some of the pointers on your blog, and I'll highlight here. Thanks and blessings.
