Last Mile Share Issue

There's not much time left for the Last Mile share appeal to fund the Broadway Extension, the issue must close on 30 April 2017.

For those who have seen the latest Cornishman focused on Broadway you will have seen some of the expenditure detailed there. Others may be thinking: Where's all the money raised going?

Here's the answer, the BIG ticket item is the track, followed by the Station itself. The embankment repair has taken the total cost well over the £1.25m so that is being funded from other income.

Shares are still available, so please dig deep so that we can complete the job by next year. Full details are at: bit.ly/Broadway-LastMile

Broadway Share Issue

Projections are that passenger numbers could increase by as much as 20% next year after Broadway station opens.

This is good for the local economy as well as the railway as for every £1 turnover at a heritage railway about £2.70 is generated for the local economy
