Introduction
One globe. No regrets - With this motto, I have been traveling the world since April 2010 - working remotely as I go. Follow my travel stories on http://globetrottergirls.com/

GlobetrotterGirls.com was started by Jessica, an American freelance travel editor and writer, and Dani, a German freelance photographer. Our passion for travel was a thirst that could not be quenched by just a few holidays a year.

This is why in 2010, we decided to kick the idea of having a ‘bucket list’ and instead started living our bucket life. We packed up our London flat and took our jobs with us on the road. Sadly, our relationship ended after 7.5 years, but Dani is continuing to roam the globe, now as a female solo traveler, sharing her experiences on Globetrottergirls.com, living as a digital nomad, combining a full time work schedule with a full time travel schedule. Although balancing long-term travel and work is not always easy and not always fun – it is always life at its fullest.

Since beginning this never-ending journey, I have climbed volcanoes, swum with sharks and sting-rays, gone caving deep into sacred and ancient Mayan caves, hiked five days through the Peruvian Andes, become accustomed to passing by men with very sharp machetes on the street, ate more street food than I'd ever thought I'd be capable of, lived on a Caribbean beach off-the-grid for a couple of months, and have mastered the art of taking some pretty crazy public transportation (chicken buses, anyone!?).
