The staff was always so polite and helpful, the rooms could use an upgrade in interior but we always felt safe and loved that everything was in walking distance. Staff let us know what amenities were around to make the most of our stay. A little pricey. The Spa of the Rockies was so great, the best experience of our trip by far! Can't say enough about this place, take advantage of the monthly special! The staff was so great! The masseuses were professional and friendly, we felt so comfortable and truly relaxed! Athletic club was nice! Loved the wet room with the jacuzzi and steam room, also enjoyed the hot springs pool - always plenty of room, great in the winter! Or especially in the morning or night.

The building is quite dramatic as it towers over the springs and proudly declares to be the "spa of the rockies" - the therapy pool features personal jet chairs that require one quarter ($0.25) to have jets shoot at your ailing bones (likely from hiking hanging lake) and are quite an enjoyable part of the experience. You will also need quarters to lock up the lockers in the locker room - so make sure you don't leave any edible "snacks" in the locker room as they will require a $0.50 premium to unlock. There is a coin machine though so fear not. Overall this is a must see in glenwood springs and you must appreciate the magnificence of the size of the pools they have. For some, the iron mountain hot springs' aesthetic is preferable. This is, however, the classic pool and just a bridge walk away from downtown and the cute bars and shops they have downtown. This is quintessentially glenwood.

Loved it! I think the rooms are very nice and I love the extras that come with it. I even like the Candy they put in our rooms and the nice comfy robes. I will stay here from now on. You cannot beat the price and the customer service!

Excellent stay! Only one glitch with the front desk. We were told we could call for rides. When we called the person had a slight attitude that we were asking for a ride. It was part of our package, I guess he didn't know, but could have been nicer. "Spa of the Rockies" was great! If your in the area, get a massage. They take fantastic care of you.

Staff- Friendly and the customer service employee was VERY fast at addressing a few little complaints we had. Our room was very hot... He brought a fan pronto since its to soon to start up the AC. Housekeeping- Didn't find anything wrong with our room. Only thing they forgot was to check the balcony... There were 2 pretzel goldfish crackers left but not a biggie. Still woulda been nice not to have to handle the precious customers food but I didn't complain to staff about it. Room- Smaller than I had imagined but I was pleased with its appearance. The Cupcake Vineyard champagne was yummy! Chocolates were a nice touch. I love the coded safe. The lamp had a nice added feature of outlets attached making it very easy to plug in anything right next to where your resting. Love having 2 sinks. 1 for the husband and 1 for me. Love the Zents products in the room. All in all we are pleased. Management- They called and asked if it was true that this indeed was our honeymoon. After confirming that they upgraded our room and package deal. LOVED THAT! Cost- All in all for everything our package included and the discounts we received... The price was worth it. We stayed 2 days and didn't pay much over $500. Breakfast and Lunch Grill- Very impressive. The options of breakfast you get is mind blowing... And FREE!!!! Build your own omelet to bacon and eggs and even breakfast burritos with delicious green chili. Loved our breakfast. Hot Spring Pool- Last night I wasn't enthused one bit about going to pool. OVERLY CROWDED and kids galore! I am a mother of 2 but this being our honeymoon and the way the Hot springs is advertised sounded soooo romantic. We get there and I see nothing romantic. Looking at it today... It's gently raining, the pool is steaming and far less people than last night. I think I'm ready to give it a go :)

I thought it was a very lovely place. Pool was wonderful, scene was priceless. My biggest complaint would be the staff. Everyone seemed very grumpy. Mainly due to construction and the rock slide, but really? Make the best out of what you have.

From rooms to service, this is a great hotel for a Glenwood Springs destination. Having quick access to the springs is incredibly convenient. Their continental breakfast is way more than donuts, cereal and bagels! You can order all kinds of breakfast foods made to order. I am a fan!
