Loved it! I think the rooms are very nice and I love the extras that come with it. I even like the Candy they put in our rooms and the nice comfy robes. I will stay here from now on. You cannot beat the price and the customer service!

Overall I thought the pools were fantastic. More shady areas would be nice. The one thing I thought was stupid was that you charge people nearly $20 and yes that is an all day pass until 10 pm, but then you charge people $1 for every time they want to use the water slides and they aren't even that great of slides. My large ice cream cone was definitely worth the $3 I paid for it.

The reviews that describe this as over priced are accurate. Average room, nothing special about it. There were definite signs of the place in disarray. For example, our refrigerator did not work and the food we bought that was purchased at a nearby grocery store went bad after we placed it in there over night. The screen door to our balcony was broken (actually just laid up against the door). We opened up the door to enjoy the morning air only to be greeted with 3 wasps in our room. That was a fun surprise after a morning shower, good grief (and for the record the wasps basically owned the use of the balcony, another lost value there). Also, be advised that when they bill the room they do not inform you that the there is 12% hotel tax which added an extra $45 per night to the bill. Outrageous, IMO. In other areas...our beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked quite well in our room. Our stay included the breakfast and that was satisfactory. Nothing great, it was decent and they have a large offering. The room was clean, no weird smells, was semi contemporary and "roomy" enough. Bathrooms were good, clean. The staff was courteous although, slightly aloof. They have an area reserved for parking for hotel guests so that was good to go. The pool is not exclusive to the hotel and is a public pool. You DO have to pay extra for the use of the watersides which I can assure you are below average (should be included in the room purchase). I am only giving a 2 star rating as, IMO, the place is ridiculously overpriced. It is simply not worth what was paid. When I return later this year and next year I wont stay there. There were a few other issues that I just dont have time to comment on in this thread. I highly recommend finding accommodations elsewhere for the price. At least I know for next time.

Very nice hot spring. $0.50 for a locker. Clean as hell for being a large outdoor pool. I don't know what people expect with something outside but the bugs were less than you'd find in the river and the waters were clean.

Two massive pools, one about 90 degree and the other 104. Great for relaxation and conversation. Locker rooms and showers are clean. Definitely worth a visit if you're muscles are sore from skiing in the Vail area.

Outrageously overpriced hotel for a mediocre room and lack of amenities. This hotel has the worse case of false advertising I have ever encountered. Their website show a peaceful serene pool, it is a public pool for ALL of Glenwood Springs with more than 500 people in it. Additionally frustrating the outrageous price doesn't cover the miniature golf or the slides attached to their disgusting cesspool. Save your money and stay down the street for less than half the price.
