Check out my latest video. In this video I explain how to fix the red eye effect caused from taking an image of an owl at night. I discuss using layers, opacity, selections and using an action. Enjoy!

When I was in Brazil last November I found this fellow that was repeatedly returning to a perch. I swapped out his plain brown stick for this one and voila!

What do you think?

What a beautiful bird.. Looks like someone took a lot of time to give it all of those light highlights in the midst of all of those brown feathers. It makes an attractive subject to capture!

It's always fun to do a little multi-flash when the opportunity presents itself :-)

I've added a gallery from Brazil to my website if anyone is interested:

I really love Woodcreepers. They are all pretty similar but have some amazing patterns!

I shot this guy in Brazil last November. Quite a pretty specimen!

I love this bag and I've owned it for two years. The only thing I would add to your review is that I wish the straps were detachable or have the ability to be hidden. I take this back to on location shoots sometimes and it is very difficult to set it on a table or on a chair without being scared that it might fall, slide, or tip over.

One of my favourite images from the past month in Ecuador was of this Blue-throated Piping Guan that I took from the canopy tower in the Amazon. Such a cool species!

If you want to join in the fun for next year be sure to get on the "wish list" - http://www.glennbartley.com/photoworkshops/home.htm

One morning in SE Brazil this guy showed up (literally) right in front of my hotel room. He sat there eating fruits for over an hour. I took about 1000 frames. It was amazing!
