My first appetizer was cold, the second one was burnt, the lamb tasted awful.. I was overall disappointed in my visit. Too many things changed for the worst and I don't believe glenlaurel is worth the price or visit anymore. Myself and others will no longer be visiting.

Glenlaurel is such a special place. We love the room - Campbell is our choice, the food, the hiking, and the before dinner get together. It is such a relaxing weekend get away. We strayed once and never again!

We just celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary at Glenlaurel, and it was absolutely magical. Everything from the drive up to the Manor House, our cottage accommodations (we stayed in the MacLeod) , the amazing breakfast each morning, the seven course dinner on Saturday night, and the Sunday night bonfire while watching the sun set. And, as always, the service was over the top. We've commented with each stay at Glenlaurel, there's always the feeling of "coming home". We're already "homesick" and can't wait to return.

My wife and I just had an incredible weddingmoon at Glen Laurel. We absolutely loved it and the tranquility of the setting. The staff was great and cleared off different areas for us outside for photos for our wedding. The food was great and we will be returning again next year in a different season. If you are looking for a great quiet get away and unplug from everything, this is the place to go.

Glenlaurel is a truly special place. I stayed there for two nights about a year ago. I hiked the trails, relaxed in my room and enjoyed two of the best gourmet lunches and dinners. Everyone at the Inn was so kind and accommodating. The only bad part of my trip was having to leave. If you're looking for a romantic and relaxing getaway, then this place is perfect!

I loved the private hike and the grounds and the staff was willing to do anything to make your stay great. I really enjoyed the breakfast and how close its located to Columbus. Already planning our next trip back.

Read more about the Historic Ales of Scotland we will be pairing May 27th. The Fraoch is a personal favorite with its very unique infusing process!
Alba Pine, Fraoch Heather, Ebulum Elderberry, Grozet Gooseberry  •  I buy this four 330 ml bottle boxed set every Christmas at the LCBO for no doubt an exorbident price given all the fancy packaging. What I do not understand is why the beers in this promotional package are not otherwise available …

Most of us can't wait until Memorial Day weekend at end of May because it marks the start of summer. Celebrate the beginning of summer with us where there is never a shortage of things to do on our majestic 140-acre property. Play our Scottish links course, take a hike, indulge in a relaxing massage or just sit by the crackling fire. Don't have two days to getaway? No problem, stay only one night in one of our suites, crofts or cottages.

Don't miss our exclusive dinner event at Glenlaurel! On May 27, we will be pairing four historic Scottish beers with a six-course dinner created by our Executive Chef. The Historic Scottish Ales highlight a range of flavors including pine, elderberry, fruity hints of cedar, and salted chocolate of the Kelpie.

It is Whisky month and whisky is Scotland’s national spirit, but is also integral to the national spirit of Scotland. Come meet us in the pub to celebrate!
Robin McKelvie goes in search of the spirit of the Isle of Islay as he visits the Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg whisky distilleries.

In January, we hosted a small group for dinner and are so pleased to be featured. Our fine dining is featured in several online videos called "the best food and culture in Hocking Hills." We couldn't be more proud to be part of this! There are several sites where the video is posted, but here are a couple of the links, they saved the best for last!
