On a clear night last week in Central Oregon I had the opportunity to shoot the Milky Way at Sparks Lake with Mt. Bachelor in the background.  This panoramic is a collection of 12 images shot with a Canon 5D Mark III and a 24-70mm 2.8L II lens.  Camera settings were iso 1600, f/2.8 and 25 seconds.  Thanks to +Ben Canales for the tip on visiting Sparks Lake for great Milky Way reflections!

Taken on a weekend trip to Oregon.  It was a tricky location to get to but well worth it once I arrived.  The waves were crashing in on me so I needed to move quickly.  This was my favourite of the bunch.  It was shot with a Canon 5D Mark III and a 24-70mm 2.8L II Lens.  The settings were iso 100, f/14 and 4 seconds exposure time.  The focal length was 50mm.  Post processing done only in Lightroom.
