When it came down to buying a car from Glassman it was very simple, sophisticated and quick. My salesman was Charlie. Left the dealership and was on my way with my new car. However, I had a temporary license and they were going to send the official new one in the mail to me about 15 days later after the day I bought the car. That time passed and was about 4-5 days past the expiration dat on the temporary license plate and still waiting for my official plate to come in. I called the dealership and tried talking to charlie had to leave a voicemail for him. I got very upset, talked to the front desk and they said it came there and the lady kindly offered to ship it overnight to me because they "noted" that I was going to pick up the new license plate. I did not. I wanted them to mail the plate to me due to my work schedule and since I was an hour and a half away, the most convenient option was to mail it to me. I recommend Glassman just not the salesman, Charlie. He never communicated back to me when it came down to the license plate issue. Loved the process at the dealership, just not how I think a salesman should treat their customer.

I've had two experiences with glassman, both times were for service. During the first visit, I had to bring the car back because the problem wasn't fixed. It took a few attempts for them to finally fix the problem. The second time I came in for an oil change, and they changed the oil. However, I didn't get my car back the way I gave it to them. The mechanics took off the knobs in the glove compartment, and didn't put them back. They changed my radio station, I was listening to Sirius satellite radio, they changed it to terrestrial radio, and turned on the headlights as if it were dark out. Lastly, they removed my car plate that had the name of the dealership, that I bought the car from, and replaced it with their dealership name WITHOUT asking me if I would be okay with this. Those were just a few things that I've experienced when I visited. The customer service staff are friendly, but much more work needs to be done, regarding mechanics returning the vehicle back to the customer the way they left it on the inside.. Please train them to respect the clients vehicle...

The dealership was courteous, fast, and competent. No complaints there. However, there are three ... differences in style. First, I wanted two tires replaced. That doesn't require opening the hood, and I never asked for them to open the hood. As soon as I arrived at the dealership (literally, in under 60 seconds), they had the hood open and were pulling out air filters for inspection, checking oil, etc. I don't want that done and I didn't ask for that to be done. I check the oil once a week. The minute you have somebody opening the airbox, you run the risk of accidentally ripping a filter, accidentally not seating a filter properly, or accidentally cracking a plastic part. It is just one more thing I need to double-check when I get home. Leave me out of that game. I've never had a dealership do this. I'm very capable of reading the recommended service intervals in the owner's manual. Second, when I was in the waiting room, a gal came out and announced to me that I was eligible for their "upgrade" plan and they'd like to sell me a new car. I didn't ask to buy a new car. I just asked for two tires to be replaced. Again, leave me out of that game. I'm 53, and if I want to buy a new car, I will approach the sales staff directly. Third, the exact wording from the follow-up e-mail after the service was to contact the service folks if I wasn't completely happy, or to leave a review if I was completely happy. WRONG! That means they are trying to affect the color of the reviews to be something other than fully representative and objective (by encouraging only glowing reviews). As you can see by this review, that didn't work. They were quick, courteous, competent, and thoroughly explained what they did. They just struck me as too ... energetic. Don't open the hood unless I ask, and don't try to sell me a new car unless I ask.

Glassman provides the whole package. I've bought my last three cars (Subaru's) from Glassman. My dad bought his last two cars there and my brother bought one too (amazingly Hyundai's) Jeff Stewart is THE man to talk to if you're interested in buying or leasing. Service and maintenance is a breeze. Everyone in the service department (writers, techs, cashiers, etc.) Provide amazing customer service. They're knowledge, friendly and always have my best interests at heart. Glassman gets an A+ in my book.

Great Subaru, great service, great people. This is my family's 2 Subaru. My wife had one a couple of years ago. On my way to purchase another car from another dealer, I said to myself, "I'm going to stop at Glassman and check out a Subaru." After driving the Legacy, I was sold! I called the other dealer right then and there, and told them I would not be coming because I found a car and bought it. That is how it went from the beginning and that is how it is now. I'm thinking there is no reason for me to ever look at another car or another dealership. Glassman has my business for life. Thanks to the entire staff for everything.
