"Forever Glade" - by  Beckley Register-Herald Life writer Lisa Shrewsberry is a wonderful piece that describes perfectly how we at Glade Springs strive to make every catered event perfectly orchestrated, beautifully staged, and stress-free (and not just weddings, either!).  Check it out here http://bit.ly/1pQ1zKW

Facilities were great but don't bother ordering pizza from this place, you would be better off buying a frozen pizza about an hour away and placing it under your hood. By the time you get here, the pizza will taste a little better, and be much hotter than if you ordered it here. Plus a few dollars cheaper...

I read some of the reviews before I booked. Pay attention to the negative reviews, although they are few. This place is totally understaffed, the rooms poorly decorated, and very overpriced. Misrepresentation is the word that most clearly sums up our experience. The ski free is not really FREE. It is built into the price. We figure we paid twice what we would have paid for skiing if we had bought our tickets at the sloops. Which is another thing; the shuttle to the sloops only runs every two hours, so having your own ride to the sloops is a must because it is a 20 minute drive in good weather. We had no hot water for a day, no clicker for the tv, no heat in one bedroom, and no amenities in the kitchen. We spent as much at the grocery store buying salt, pepper, dishwasher detergent, etc as we would have if we had just had meals out. You also are charged a daily fee for the use of the facilities that is built into the room price. Be careful when talking to the reservation desk, because they are well coached and will not truthfully represent the fees, shuttle schedule, and amenities.

Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly! If you aren't golfing, there are numerous other activities. Hour and a half horse back riding is about the perfect time. Also $1.75 draft beer happy hour is great!

Very nice place, rooms are pretty clean and nice, staff are very cheerful and helpful, a nice place to relax for couple of days. Alot of activities to do if you have time. Just the accomadation prices are little high plus some hidden fees and taxes.

Private country setting. Our room was great. The food service at the cafe was great. The food at the sports bar was okay the service was horrible. The spa was fantastic.
