On the inside, we’ve given each floor its own character: Our first floor features a dining room with communal bar tables and our very own brewery! We currently have 4 unique craft beers on tap and will have seasonal selections on rotation. Stop by for an original Gino’s East beer and deep dish pizza after work or during your lunch break! Our second floor is a full dining room, perfect for large groups and family dinners. Hey! We will even let you write on the walls, you know that's a Gino's East tradition. So, come leave your mark! Want to make a whole day of it? Join us in the evenings, Thursday - Saturday, on our third floor where we host live comedy with Comedy Bar Chicago.

Had a great experience here with my art club for a trip to the art museum. We placed an order ahead of time, and it was ready promptly at the time that we arrived. The pizza was delicious and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. They literally served every slice to us! Great Chicago Style Pizza option.

GINO'S EAST, Chicago, IL (River North) The BEST, bar none, deep-dish, Chicago-style, Pizza Pie ever served, Anywhere! Beats them ALL, for sheer size, and satisfying deliciousness! You MUST stop here for the real Chicago experience! Your tummy will thank you! *Since this pie is so HUGE, be prepared to wait a little longer than average for your freshly made pizza-pie! It's worth it, & it'll give you time to sample some beer and appetizers, too! (:-)

Well I went here because i saw it on the food network and i was really dissapointed. I waited an hour to sit then another 10 minutes before i was even tendered to. I ordered the pizza while i was waiting and i told the waitress and it looks like they never even made my pizza because i still had to wait another 40 minutes before i even got it. Well the pizza was not worth waiting for. I believe this is the worst deep dish in chicago. Lou' s kills this place or even Paquods.

Dined during the Chicago Marathon weekend, apparently all the runners decided to carb up here after, so naturally the wait was long. We ordered and were told there would be an hour wait on the pie ( we came in knowing this ) but in reality it was closer to 2 hours, when we were served the pie it looked as if it had been rushed, not really the experience I was hoping for but we did come during marathon weekend and on a packed night, a must to check out in Chicago or to check off your man v food list.

It's a Chicago staple that you have to try. It's great for large crowds and/or kids. Plus, the atmosphere is really fun and playful. I'm partial to Giordano's for deep dish, but Gino's is a close second. You won't be disappointed here.

Sitting here on the patio enjoying one of their brews now. Excellent beer. Fantastic pizza. There was a slight mix up in the kitchen with our pizza but the waitstaff handled it with grace. Will be back soon!

Loved Gino's East as a child when visiting Chicago with my family. Frequented the restaurant when a young professional living in the city. Tolerated the move to Ontario Street when back in town visiting with my wife about ten years ago. But had an absolutely miserable experience this past week when taking my own young family to the city for vacation. We went to the new River North location and it has lost all the appeal and ambiance of the original, and is now just another average sports bar. No writing on the walls. No intimacy. Disconnected staff. Music much too loud to have a dinner conversation yet alone hear the waiter from across the table. I literally had to get out of my seat to confirm the order. And service was painfully slow — and this was a Monday night. We waited over an hour from finishing the appetizers to getting our pizza. And there were multiple other tables looking just as bored and frustrated. The crowning moment was when our waiter brought the bill back to the table without my credit card. Ten minutes of pure panic until another waiter found it on the floor by the cashier. No apologies, but rather "that happens all the time." Really?! The pizza is good, but not worth the wait. Maybe the Superior Street location still has the magic, but this location has completely lost it for me and is not nearly as good as it had once been. Chicago has a lot of other pizza options nearby. I'd suggest trying those first.

Had really high hopes for this place as it was so well known. We got the deep dish pizza and the crust was disgusting. I like Green Mill pizza way better.

Gino's East River North hasn't shared anything with you.
