My nephew - destroying some ELO.  If after listening to this at least 5 times you don't think it's awesome, I'll be man enough to say that..... you're just wrong.  It IS in fact awesome.

Those are the most aggressive do-wah dooby-dooby-wahs ever recorded. Ever.
Pretty massive. Your dad was a huge ELO guy. In fact I have to say that when I hear Jeff Lynn I kind of teleport mentally back to many days of listening to your dad play some guitar. I dont think he hit too many ELO tunes but he did love that band.

HaHa!  When the music started and the head set was screaming "Turn to the right!  Trey, Ummmm Trey... please turn to the middle of the lake!  Trey?!  Hello!  ... Is this thing on?" - I was smiling from ear to ear.  What a great experience.  Very happy for you to have had such an amazing time.  That was a very fun/cool video.  Thanks for the ride.

Dallas is so awesome. Her work is great and her energy is great.  How can anyone not want to learn from her?

Hi, you know firstly I wanted to be serious and judge this photo as in usual metaphorical manner but than got relaxed and saw the thing simply scopefully , it is just some tooth is sparkling so somebody is intensively chewing "Dirol".....lol, but really both pics have sense, it depends what mood you have for each one and for what purpose you will be using them. Anyone can judge subjectively.

My son adores pigeons. In the streets he looks at them like that. The same as they look at him.:))

Introduction
There are moments in time that are so perfect that later when we filter them through our memories they come back larger and more wonderful than they really were. More epic. More vivid. Memory in motion.

I saw an interview of Joni Mitchell where she said that when she wrote a song she would blow up the emotion of the situation so that the listener would focus on the point she was trying to get across.  She said that Van Gogh would make his skies bluer and his stars bigger in his paintings for this reason.  It was, "... a lie to help you see the truth."  That sums up exactly what I am trying to accomplish with my images.  They are based on something real.  But I have exaggerated the truth so that you see it they way I want you to.
You may agree with my perspective.  You may not.

This is the inspiration for my work. Photographic surrealism.

Born on the road with Hunter S. Thompson while 'Round Midnight played on the radio, I am Gino.

My images do not represent reality. They're more real than that.
Bragging rights
I have known some really cool people in my life. Not famous people. Just really cool people. I even know a few people right now that I think are really cool. I also have a 14 year old son and the same wife for 28 years. In a row. That's worth a little something I think.

When Record stores dream they imagine that they are Friends Of Sound. This place has everything you could want. Funky/secret location? Check. Cool and euber-knowledgeable people? Check. Tons-o-sweet and rare vinyl? Double check. Once you figure out that the store front is actually a store back, and up a ramp, and down to the left, you find yourself in wax heaven. I have been to every record store in Austin including Waterloo Records, and this place finally gave me what I was looking for. Selections! I walked in with my list of the top 20 LP's I didn't own, and couldn't find, and found 7 of them on the first trip. Lp's that none of the other stores ever had no matter how many times I went back. I was helped by Cyrus who broke down every record I asked him about like they were the Zapruder film and made sure I knew every subtle nuance and piece of trivia there was to be known. I thought Rob Gordon, Dick and Barry were going to come out from behind the counter. (Gratuitous High Fidelity reference) Located just up the street from Guerro's and the Continental Club on South Congress this is the Record Store that other Record want to be when they grow up and get serious.

Looking for something exciting and new and yet also familiar? Swing by Hopdoody and settle in for a fresh take on an All American standard. It's almost impossible to improve on something as classic as the hamburger, but Hopdoody did it! The moment you step into this Hopddody you realize you're in for more than a meal. You're going to get an experience. From the walls splashed with local art to farm fresh food, everything there looks amazing. Even the burger names are cool! The Terlingua with it's awesome chili con carne, the Continental Club with turkey, provolone and apple smoked bacon and the Ahi Tuna burger with real sushi grade tuna are just a few of the amazing items on the list. The fact that it's taken me this long to get to the all the hand crampingly cold beers on tap is also amazing. But they got a lot of em'. And many of them are locally brewed. But the Doble Fina margarita stole my heart, and my throat. It is true that Hopdoddy is no secret. There's usually a little bit of a line. But the line seems to go by faster than any line I've been in. Maybe it's because the staff makes sure to get a cold drink in your hand the second you get in that line! They say you never want a skinny chef cooking for you. I think you also don't want to eat at a place that no ones eats at either. (Hint: there's a reason no one eats there.) I also loved, loved, loved that after you get your order in you don't have to wander around looking for a place to sit. They reserve a table for you while you're in line! That's awesome. When you spend time, effort and money going out with your family and friends you want to have a good time with no bad surprises. Hopdoddy is a guaranteed good time with some of the best food in Austin. Give it a try. You'll be glad you did.
