Have to say it has been awhile since I have planted a tree but today on Earth Day it may be the right thing to do. Trees produce oxygen and absorb pollutants in the air.
Perhaps giving a tree as a gift to our clients in the future can start the right trend...instead of cutting them all down when the developers build homes. Here we have trees, not quite like the Sequoias, but old and large my town tries to preserve for others. Makes sense doesn't it?
In my real estate life that came after my corporate life, I truly was thrown into this business with my first transaction.
Caught on a whim by an attorney I proceeded down that road to get that real estate sale done. An estate home that had two parties not in agreement, required to listen to 8 track tapes of music to be played to get one of them to sign documents, crawling under the house to read a water meter not found...
Well I learned to stand on my own two feet in this business fast! Have a story to share from your first present job? Share it, it can just bring back great memories!
Still not making enough headway with real estate values for over 9 million homeowners hoping for a lift in home values .
Some sections of this country are in a constant boom but most are just very slow and steady with home equity growth...
Depending upon what part of the country you are living in the highs and lows of real estate are quite different. RealtyTrac shows in their 1st quarter report of 2014 that many homeowners are still seriously underwater. read more: http://bit.ly/1jMWhQ3
Do we see more short sales coming as homeowners are tired of waiting for their equity to move upwards?
This is not encouraging as our housing attempts to move out of the doldrums. Hard facts you need to be aware of...
The online pics for this RI real estate home just wowed my buyer. Seeing was believing when you see a $400,000 interior renovation in this 5400 sq.ft. walk to water home.
My favorite was the kitchen which was so amazing with its granite, surround cabinetry, appliances of every kind and larger than my living room & dining room combined. Meticulous detail in every room plus an allowable in-law apartment. http://bit.ly/1r05PrS
The words SOLD were written all over it and so it happened. Executive buyer found me online and we went from shopping to buying their home in 7 weeks. So strong online exposure for you and your properties do sell homes!
Well bankers are practical people formerly known centuries ago as shylocks we do not use that term anymore. If you need to put collateral up on a consumer loan use still need the gold or the non-penny stock most times.
Fico.com did a great infographic telling it like it is...lenders don't want your cars or diamonds that often and keep your Mona Lisa too!
Home sellers are told by all list with a friend who knows you and you can trust. Instead sellers need to educate themselves on what is important to reap the biggest home dollar gains. Such as:
- have a script to interview from
- ask the right questions on agents volume and/or dollar of sales
- ask what their list price/sales price record is
- know their marketing plan- online presence for listings
- test their negotiating skills out (very telling)
This Exeter RI home Sold is one of a number in this community I have a 98-99% list price/sales price track record on. Compared to others sold in the neighborhood at 95%.
A potential home seller should be asking why they would not consider me to list their home over another sales agent. Asking the right questions is so important...it is your money left on the table if you do not of potential sales agents for your home.
