My roommate and I sometimes get takeout from this place and I finally went to the restaurant in person. I think the food here is overall pretty good and they have pretty cheap and decent drinks. But man, the service! Our waitress took a while taking our orders and giving us the check, but we really waited a long time to pay after getting our check. We kept trying to get our attention not just from our waitress but the other servers but no one seemed to pay attention to the corner ... And at one point they were all just freaking out and laughing over something on their phones. Finally just went up myself to give them our credit cards so we can pay and leave while they still laugh over that so-important-thing-on-their-phone. Food-wise, I had the bibimbap with spicy pork, which tasted pretty good although it's not really like the bibimbap I'm used to - didn't see any gochujang but since it was served with a flavorful spicy pork it was fine. My roommate usually get the thai basil beef, which is now served in a hot stone bowl (it didn't use to be), but she says the hot stone bowl makes it drier. It's still a good option for Inman Square, especially if you're looking for Asian food, but I might stick to delivery next time.

Hi Fiona, I firstly would like to thank you for coming in and dining with us as well as ordering takeout. I am glad to hear that you have consistently enjoyed our wonderful food! I wanted to genuinely apologize for your dine-in experience and assure you that this is not the standard of service we expect from our employees. Thank you for bringing the quality of service to our attention. Every guest deserves the full attention of our staff every time they come in to enjoy a meal. We will talk to our servers and ensure that this behavior is corrected. I encourage you to come back in and let us show you the highest standard of service that you deserve! I hope to see you again soon!"

Definitely was not worth the wait.. A two hour delivery wait while on the brink of starvation, atrophy eating us from the insides, culminated in the worst dine-in experience since the Donner Party had their picnic in the Sierra Nevadas. Service sucked, food sucked, people we had to deal with almost sucked but they were okay I guess. The host said he was sorry and was nice which made my really late and terrible sushi taste better..... PYSCH!!!! The sushi still sucked. And if you still decide to order from this sh*thole, whatever you do, DO NOT get the lettuce wraps! They taste like soggy garbage that has been sitting out in a rainstorm all night in between a homeless person's toes.

Pretty average. Good Oyster deals on some days but probably wouldn't choose to go there with so many other nearby options.

Came in not realizing the restaurant was in the process of closing for lunch break. The manager was very nice and allowed us to get our order in. Amazing staff. Friendly and courteous, I will be back !

While the food was good the service was not though. Took a little longer than expected to get our food and even getting refills was more of a challenge than usual. Not to mention that the drink size was pretty terrible as well for the Mango juice drink was super small for $2. Plus the classic rock felt entirely wrong the the look and theme of the restaurant too.

I eat here at least once a week and it's always delicious! The staff is welcoming, and the sushi is fresh. Everything from fish to noodles to wings are very tasty. If you like to eat up at the bar, the bartender is super friendly. My recommendations: miso salmon, naked narruto tuna sushi, pad thai, and udon noddle soup. GX has nightly specials, and large beer dispensers for sharing. Must eat place in Inman Square!

I'm not usually overly critical, but I found the food to be totally horrible. I couldn't finish my meal because it was so bad. I tried other people's food and it was just as bad. The waitress was also extremely rude, I don't remember any I've had as rude as she was. To be fair, the spring rolls were decent. That was probably the only thing. Can't believe this place is Zagat rated.
