The service I received during my recent purchase at Gillman Subaru was remarkable. As a potential new member of the Subaru family I had a number of questions regarding features, services, and other logistics. I was impressed with the team and their family-like yet professional demeanor. I was also thankful for their respectful manner regarding my budgetary limit. Raul Martinez assisted me in the purchase of my car. Raul was attentive to the type of vehicle and features I wanted and, took a great deal of time to ensure I was satisfied with the price and model of Subaru I was going to purchase. He was also very helpful when setting up and explaining the features on my Forrester. He also went so far as to guide me through the syncing of the garage door opener and also followed up to ensure I was still pleased with my purchase. The Gillman Subaru Team as a whole were a joy to be around and I highly recommend them.

I bought my first Subaru at Gillman Subaru Southwest about a month ago. The car buying process was quick and easy. My salesman, Raul Martinez, quickly located the type of used car for which I was looking. Raul is friendly and professional. He answered all of the questions I asked about the vehicle I was considering purchasing. I've never had a pleasant car buying experience until I purchased my Certified Pre-Owned 2014 Subaru Crosstrek from Raul. The financing process was fairly quick and painless as well. I love my Subaru and I love Gillman Subaru Southwest. Ask for Raul Martinez, he'll treat you right.

The service I received from Salma Khan was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and experienced. I was turning in a car with a lease that had ended and had decided to lease a new car. She answered all of my questions and took the time to show me several, potential new cars to lease. She went through the car manual and also went through the different functions of the car that I had decided to lease. She was very thorough and patient. If I were not moving to a different state, then I would definitely come back to Salma Khan for future car purchases.

Another bad experience at the gillman service center. I had stopped coming here after they completely ruined my car on an insurance repair when i got t-boned, but went here for a needed alignment after swapping my rack and pinion due to subaru south west being booked solid for two weeks. Car was dropped off at 9 am for a 930 appointment, 4 wheel alignment. At 11 i get a call from the advisor, Edson, that i did not get the rack centered proper and they will need to re align the spline in the shaft to center my steering wheel, gave me a price, and i agreed to go ahead and do the labor, asking if the car will still be ready for pick up in the afternoon. I am told yes no problem. Come 3 pm and i am ready to leave work and pick up my car or wait a bit there and get it, so i call to get an update. Edson has left for the day so they transfer me to another service consultant, and i am informed the technician is waiting on the customers response to continue the work. How incompetent of a service representative can you have that does not relay customer information to the floor... I am then informed the car will no way be ready that day. A simple 3 hour job turned into a two day and me having to scramble for a ride to and from work , while the new service guy gives me some spew about how busy they are and not all the mechanics are there...

I went there car shopping for the near future and my salesman Spencer Nevins was extremely helpful and patient with me! He knew I wasn't going to buy that day and didn't pressure me to close a deal that day, which in turn impressed me enough to definitely come back to him when I am ready! He was funny and knowledgeable and I appreciate his patience with me. We have been looking for a new car for quite awhile. I've been to many other dealerships and didn't find exactly what we were looking for until we came to Gillman's. Our salesman Tripp was absolutely wonderful. After the other salesmen we encountered and wasted time with Tripp was a breath of fresh air and in a class of his own. He was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. We love our new Forester! If you're in the market for a new car do yourself a favor a see Tripp @ Gillman's Subaru!

If you are buying a car from Gillman Subaru Southwest, please read. We purchased 2016 Forest on May 21st, 2016. The person who deal with our financing named Mario told us that we can only purchase the extended warranty right away otherwise we couldn't buy it elsewhere. Also he is showing an attitude of impatience to try to push us making decision. So we purchased the extended warranty and windshield protection for $2999. When we back home and checked online, we saw the official website claims that we can purchase the extended warranty anytime before the 3-year warranty expired. And some other dealerships offer a much lower price for the same extended warranty (<$1000). So we went back to the Gillman Subaru Southwest on May 25th (Wednesday) to cancel our extended warranty and windshield protection plan, Mario was not there but his colleague said the paperwork will be hand over to Mario to process. On May 27th (Friday), I called Gillman to check our cancellation status, I was told that Mario was not working for Gillman anymore, his supervisor Brian Lee took the phone and told me that he will handle it and give me a call back. He have NEVER CALLED. There many calls and two visits we have made during the past two months, and every time, we were told that it will be processed immediately and we should be able to see the money return deposit in 4-6 weeks, if not in the first bank statement, it will be in the second bank statement. Now the second bank statement was out 3 days ago, but there is no cancellation deposit made to our account. I called Chase 2 days ago and was told they had never seen the deposit. Chase told me if they received the deposit, it should show up in my account within 3 business days, which means, IF as Gillman subaru southwest claimed that they have processed it, why I haven't seen my money back? I called Gillman Subaru Southwest on July 15th, two days ago, and left two messages for Mr. Brian Lee, no calls returned. Our sales person are nice, knowledgable and efficient. But the financial department in Gillman Subaru is the opposite. When you buy a car from them, you were happy and satisfied at the beginning but you have no idea what will come next when you signed the paperwork and started talking to their F&I department. Please be cautious! It has been wasting us a lot of time making phone calls and leaving voice mails and writing emails to try to communicate with Gillman Subaru Southwest, but we have been completely ignored and I haven't got my $2999 cancellation money back. For future customers, if you have lots of spare time you are willing to waste, you can do business with them. Otherwise, please think twice before you going there.
