Buying experience for my awesome new 2015 Forester was great! Parker, the sales guy, was excellent and very patient with me as I asked tons of questions, explored most of their inventory, and test drove multiple Foresters. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is the Service department. I had to get my accessories added, and showing up the 1st time, they didn't have a part that they thought they did, and when I got home, I noticed one of my crossbars wasn't latched on properly. This led to multiple trips to the dealership for service before it was all said and done. They were always very nice, but seem a bit overwhelmed and too busy to be convenient. Maybe a larger garage or mechanic staff would help? With that being said, I am very happy with my purchase. I would definitely buy from them again, and if so, will find Parker again. He's great!

I have to gush about Gillman Subaru SW. I have never had such a pleasant experience shopping for a different vehicle. I've had my eyes on Subarus for a while now and I'm a person who really does their research. After a local dealership was unable to work with me, I was able to find a vehicle on the Gillman lot (online shopping). I had the pleasure of working with Internet Sales Manager Jana, who went above and beyond to make sure every one of my needs were met. I was able to do most of the "work" via phone and email, Jana respecting the fact that I had a very difficult schedule to work around. The facility is very welcoming, and I felt taken care of, not rushed or pressured into any extra purchases at the time of the signing. The finance department also deserves props for being incredibly professional! I would recommend Gillman to any friend or family member. Thank you for such an awesome experience

These people do not care about the customers After we bought our car. They did not care about us anymore. My husband took my car to fix and he wait for 5 hours to tell him that they can't fix the car and they show him how to do a trick so every time the key get stock in the car. He will be able to take out. My husband got upset and left. He wrote a review and they called him my husband did not want to talk to them because he was upset. They told him that why he wrote a bad review and my husband and if he can take off. My husband did not want to take off and they got very upset. This is freedom of speech and they are trying to stop him. My car is dangerous to my life and they didn't care. I have thee kids and we are risking our life. I called the manager to see if they got the part and he advised me that they will not fix my car because my husband wrote a bad review about them. I spoke with the general manager and he didn't help me even that i told him the car is in bad cheap and i can have an accident. He was more interesting on the review that help me. DO NOT BUY CAR FROM THEM THEY DIDN'T CARE THAT I CAN HAVE AN ACCIDENT AND I HAVE THREE KIDS. I CAN BELIEVE THAT THEY DID NOT CARE. THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL RUDE AND NO CUSTOMERS SERVICE

I did purchased a new 2015 Legacy from the dealer in Feb. My car buying experience was pleasant. In the price, was an engine remote starter kit, what was not in stack at the time. I took back my car with 650 miles in it to the dealer in March 13th to install the remote start and pick up my license plates. The trouble started when I expected a job what is can be down in a couple of hours. The service advisor told me is will take all day! Then he corrected and says it is can be ready much sooner. I stayed there to wait for my vehicle for over 5 hours. The waiting area was Ok, periodically I checked on my car in progress… The arriving time 9:20 until noon a young technician worked on the car – here and there… sometime he walked away for half hours. Then some other showed up to talk to him and drop big carton box top of my car hood until they carry the conversation. (Brand new car, I try to baby the paint because I want to take this car overseas.) Under this installation process none of the technician used any protection to keep the paint without scratches. I did raise my concern to the service manager Mr. Mendez. Also I complained about the time after sitting there 4 hrs. Then I had been told, some complication arisen, the do not know when will be ready. I got offered a loan vehicle to drive home and Mr. Mendez told me soon is the car ready he will sent it to me. So I drove away after 5 hours home. When I got home I realized the loan vehicle have NO ANY license on it visible. I try to call Mr. Mendez about my concern, but I just need it to leave a message to him. No any call back in that they. Next day on March 14th I did send an email early morning to Mr. Mendez, and then I called the office number where I left a message again, .No any kind of communication received from the service until 12:31 PM, when I called the service manager personal cell phone. He said it was a problem with a micro switch, but they working on it now. I told him I need my car back before 1830 because I need to go to work. Finally around 16:30 I received a text from the manager, stating an apology, and the car is ready, everything is working properly, including the remote start and ready to deliver. Well, the car is not arrived until 1840. When is delivered to my drive way, I was shocked. Very dirty, leftover cuts wire and electric tapes in the driver carpet. The doors and windows full with dirty fingerprint and smudges. The rear seat looks like somebody walk on it. In the center of the rear seat the bottom divider damaged, is has a big dent. The outside is have some kind of sticky residue on the doors, the metallic parts is full with smudges and fingerprint, and after all, my key, what was home with me is NOT working… Not opening the trunk, not arming or disarming. I would like to bring these issues up for the management. Again, my buying experience was pleasant, but this ordeal is toke my happiness away, and I real start to regret my buy from your dealership. Never in my life had I experienced such ignorant and sloppy treat from any service. My disappointment just grew with the bad communication and bad job. This was a standard accessories to install, should not take such endeavor. The purpose of this letter to give the dealership a chance before I post.

I had a hard time finding a dealer to work with me up in the Dallas area, so I searched the state of Texas and found that Gillman Subaru had an online chat feature. I spoke with James Rutledge who gave me a fair price that we agreed upon before I even stepped foot into the actual dealership. I drove from Dallas and was pleasantly surprised how easy the whole process was. James took me to my car, showed me all the car's features and went over warranty and maintenance details. I spent maybe an hour total between James and the finance department. It was a very smooth process!! Thank you for making my car buying experience a great one!!

I am writing this review for David Wordak on helping me finding a Subaru. He is a very nice person with seasoned experience, so he is good at what he is doing, he explained well of my target cars, and answered all my questions. He is rather patient, knowledgeable and mellow as well. In addition, he is more like a friend from your neighborhood, and I have no hesitation to recommend him if any one is looking for a car in this dealership.

Other than price of the vehicle, nothing. We were lied to and given the runarounds from the beginning. After waiting for 5 hours for the finance department to sign papers, we asked what was going on. Our vehicle got sold to another couple and they secretly called the 1960 dealership to have another vehicle brought in without even telling us. There went half our day and plans ruined. We left so upset that we didn't want to deal with them again. About 2 weeks later general manager called to apologize and see what he could do to earn our business back. Well, we fell for that again. Signed papers and capital one was our lien holder. Spoke to the lien holder and waited for our coupon book. So we thought everything was good. Well, wrong. We got a past due letter from Santander saying we were 22 days past due. WTH!!!Right?? We sent a money order to address on our signed documents. Dealership failed to advise us that capital one wasn't going to be the lien holder and now we owe 2 months on our new vehicle. They don't care about customer service just trying to sell a car. Apologizing isn't always right. Manager said it was our fault for not calling them to find out what happened. Excuse me, we didn't know you guys did the changing of our lien holder. My title says capital one. I'm so upset and had to call my attorney. Go somewhere else guys.

Awesome Subaru dealership! They're further away from me than West Houston Subaru, but the guys at Gilman took care of my airbag recall where as West Houston would hang up on me when I tried to set up an appointment. I wanted to look at some BRZ's while I was waiting and the salesmen were very friendly even though I clearly said I no intentions of buying a new vehicle at this time. No pressure what so ever and they still showed me all the features of the vehicle and were very informative. I will buy a vehicle from here one day. Thank you guys, I had a pleasant experience at your dealership!
