Simply, this hotel is very stylish and attractive. The hotel lobby has a sort of '70s outdoorsman catalogue aesthetic. It's hard to explain, and I'm certainly not doing it justice- but it looks cool. When you check in, you're also offered a complimentary drink of the alcoholic variety from the front reception desk. This also is pretty cool. Then, when you get up to your room, you quickly will realize your room is just a room. Nothing too beautiful or particularly noteworthy about it. Furthermore, the bathroom door is corrugated glass, so your partner or whomever you're with can easily see you, leaving little to the imagination. It's highly awkward. Overall, it's a beautiful hotel, but you're certainly paying for it. Two nights set me back about $900 on a Saturday Sunday. I recommend it if you don't mind the cost. But with the cost in mind, I can't say I honestly found it to be worth it. Nonetheless, nothing notably wrong with the place either (other than the bathroom door situation).

Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Place looks amazing and it's clean with a fresh smell through the corridors. I would have liked a coffee / tea maker in the room.

This place took such good care of us! It was my boyfriend's birthday so I called ahead to upgrade our room as a surprised. Receptionist was so helpful and said she would put us in a suite at no extra charge and even send up a bottle of champagne to celebrate!! When we checked in, she had put us in the penthouse! Talk about a surprise. Every member of the staff was helpful, kind, and prompt. The room was well furnished, clean, and most importantly quite. Some downsides: the pillows were awful, the AC wasn't working too great, and it wasn't the easiest to find. Overall, a great place and I intend to revisit it or other Thompson hotels.

Stylish 'boutique' hotel in the Financial District. Traffic is dead on the weekend which is good. Positives ----------------- - Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful - Good Location - Close to Brklyn Bridge and 911 memorial. - Close to subway - Grocery Store - spacious room for NYC standards - Onsite free bikes to borrow - modern rooms Negatives ---------------- - Bathrooms do not have fans - Beds were a bit hard Overall this was a great stay so we chose 4 stars!!!

We loved every detail about our stay from the complimentary glasses of prosecco at our arrival to the fresh and flaky croissants at the restaurant each morning. The room's decor was warm and cozy. We felt at home and didn't want to leave.

Nice new boutique hotel conviently located near the Federal Reserve Bank. I still prefer Kimptons because of their perks for reward program members though.

The TV in our room made all movies look like soap operas. The room service menu reflects the restaurant downstairs which is very good. Service is pleasant, location is all offices.

This is a great hotel. The room was spacious and clean. And the bathroom was large by NYC standards. The fitness room is on the small side, but they've got 3 of them. Room had a very nice TV, the remote worked, and it did not automatically turn on to a dumb hotel channel. I'll give the front desk an 11 for service. I left my tablet computer there a week ago, and guess what? When I stopped by today they were holding it for me.
