“In this new collection I have tried to emphasize linear motion and speed. All the pictures depict landscapes seen from a vehicle (car, train, plane, ship) in motion at a high speed.
So, the perspective and the animated or unanimated objects of the landscape are each condensed in a continuous line that represents an instant (hic et nunc) frozen and stretched in the flow of space/time. The color lines are therefore like a geological stratum of distinct presents in a traveler’s evolution.”
Children love my book EYE BOGGLERS because it gives them a great sense of wonder and, incidentally, reminds adults just how strange, exotic, and beautiful our world is. You can review and purchase this book here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1780970749/?tag=archimelabpuz-20
If you concentrate on the red pattern in the center of this figure, it will appear to be unstable and hover over the blue background. Once the pattern does begin to hover, you can move your head left and right to intensify the effect.
Take a look at this image for a while and you will notice something very unique about it. The green # symbols will appear to be unstable as they slightly float and move over the black and white background.
Most people believe there are two or three distinct types of green pattern, but in fact, there is only one! The hovering patterns look different because the regularity of their shape is disturbed by the background.

The heart, and surrounding blue and green background, appear to swirl around and be in motion as you shift your gaze around the various parts of this image.
Do all problems have solutions? Is complexity synonymous with difficulty? This original collection of mathematic puzzles and paradoxes proves that things aren’t always what they seem! Readers will discover that nothing is as easy or as difficult as it looks and that puzzles can have one, several, or no solutions.
