Very nice place, where nobody feels out of place (Familys, young couples etc). Food was absolutely superb (i had the winter special grilled chicken breast and butternut squash). Perfectly cooked chicken, great portion size. The whole menu is pretty authentic (as says my German girlfriend). Overall, its not even expensive. If you can get a table, well worth it.

Very nice food, served very quickly and professionally. I appreciated that I came without booking during a busy night and the staff found me a table within 10 min. I put only 4 stars because it was a bit dark and very noisy due to the building set up I suppose. It s a great place to eat in an historic building. Snitchzel and Dessert were amazing!

Food, as usual, was excellent. They lose a star in the rating because of the table size. We were three for lunch and were seated in the "restaurant" area upstairs. We were very disappointed at the size of the table - really a table for two with an extra seat - not enough legroom. Also, we had to constantly shuffle our glasses and plates to avoid the danger of spillage! The tables for three in the ground floor area seemed to be bigger. I think they are trying to cram in too many people upstairs (which, incidentally was less than half full). On mentioning the table problem as we left, they didn't seem interested. Shame because it's local and we enjoy the food.

Excellent service. Warm friendly atmosphere for such a large building in the centre of London. Food was excellent. choice of wines and spirits also excellent at reasonable prices for London . Facilities also excellent. 10 out of 10 all round experience. Would highly recommend it.

New and trendy at King's Cross. Great decor. Chicken sandwich and schnitzel the best. Didn't like the liver - smothered in too many onions and sauce.

Lovely building and interesting wine selection. Good service. Food is German themed but not particularly inspired and expensive

The place is gorgeous, the food a bit less. Well, I am not a fan of truffle flavoured food, unless it is real truffle, fresh and sliced onto the food. Prices are ok, that is, you pay what you get.
